Rating + 1 Item description incorrect.

The item I received did not match the manufacturer's specifications for the part # provided. When I asked to return it they would only accept it if I paid the return shipping. Fortunately Newegg intervened and covered the shipping and got me a full refund for the item.
Seller Response:Customer got the product he had ordered. I such cases where in the customer still wants to return the item without any defect with it, this is considered to be a Remorse Case and hence as per our policy mentioned on the portal as well, customer has to bear the cost of shipping the item back. A complete refund was provided to the customer and the shipping was not our concern. This feedback is something which we would like to challenge.

Purchased DJI Drone days before new regulations were to be announced. The regulations prevent flying a Drone within a 5 miles. I live within that 5 mile radius. I requested a refund for the Drone , which was still in it's unopened and sealed box. I had the original shipping box with pillows. After mailing it back and received in unopened condition. There was a return condition, but it was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.

Use some one else they can't even put the right product in the box.
Seller Response:Customer has never contacted us . As such even if there is an issue with a particular purchase we would not be able to know about the same. After getting this feedback we have tried contacting the customer but Customer just hung up and did not even talk to us. This is something which we should not be penalized for.

Rating + 1 Cancelled order shipped anyway

Placed an order that, unfortunately, I needed to cancel. Sent email to 123, called and left voicemail with 123 and talked to NewEgg customer support (who assured me that order was cancelled in time)...all BEFORE my credit card was even charged. But 123 is a true front...a room of folks on phones from 9-5 eastern with all other activity - inventory, payment and fulfillment - outsourced to other, truly digital companies that work around the clock. By the time a human being working New York hours saw the many ways I tried to cancel my order, the package was already shipped. They did honor a refund but have insisted that I did not cancel in time and therefore they were being generous in allowing a refund at all. They never admitted that their operational setup was inconsistent with being a digital store. And they made me pay for return shipping. The lack of vetting of marketplace stores has left a bad taste in my mouth for NewEgg. I'm going back to that other well-known digital marketplace...

Rating + 5 Was contacted by store and offered refund

This product came damaged and leaking pellets out of the box. I did not contact the seller as I blamed the shipping company. I had no desire to go through the trouble of getting compensation as it would have involved many contacts and dead ends. The store saw my two star review and contacted me out of the blue. They offered a 50% refund if I would amend my rating. I think this is more than fair and I appreciated the time they took to reach out to me. I feel like they care about the customer and want to do a good job. Had there been a safety seal on the product this would not have happened. Overall I'm pleased with the way this company operates. I've read the other reviews. I think the company is trying it's best to rectify issues as of late.

Rating + 1 If you think you might need to edit your order don't even think about it.

I made this order and the next day I got an E-mail for a better price on exact same thing. I called to cancel and talked to an actual person. She sent a "message" to 123Stores. The next week I got a tracking number. Absolutely no contact from them and Newegg refused to do a full refund even with the time line I gave them. The product is fine, but same or better prices elsewhere with much much better return policy's plus the possibility of some communication with sellers if needed, or at least some sort of sign of life. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere if you think you might ever need customer service.
