Rating + 1 Wouldn't purchase again from this seller

Purchased item on 01/27/16 and never received a shipping/tracking notice from them until I placed a cancel order on 02/19/16 when they finally informed me that the item has been in LA since 02/11/16; still no word on when I can expect to receive item. Very poor communication.

You made your purchase on the 27th and we shipped the item on the 31st. You are able to check your item and its location through NewEgg whenever you want to. You contacted us on the 19th of February, and requested an order cancellation.

We replied to you, informing you that the item you ordered had arrived in LA since February 11th, and we gave you the tracking number so you can follow it up. Once the item has been shipped, the seller has done all that is needed on their part, and cannot - even if we wanted to - cannot cancel the order because the item has been shipped. When the item has been handed over to the carrier, all the information we receive from the carrier is the same as what you receive.

If you want to know when you would receive your item, you should contact the carrier or enter the tracking number on the carrier's website - which we gave to you as well.

And we also included in our original reply that if you were unhappy with the purchase we would gladly accept returns, and if you had any questions, we would happily help in whichever way we could.

We believe we had provided all the details you asked for when you contacted us, and we know that we fulfilled seller's responsibility without negligence, yet we never heard back from you afterwards.

"Very poor communication" seems to be misdirected.

Rating + 2 Actually ships from Korea!

I ordered on 1/21. Supposedly shipped 1/22 (but tracking says it didn't collect until 1/26), tracking says it has shipped out from an "international post station" on 1/28. Here it is a week later (2/7) and I have no clue where my package is. The item I ordered from NewEgg arrived a week ago. I didn't realize I was ordering something from another country, I thought I was ordering from newegg. Bad job communicating this was going to take forever to deliver. I don't know if it's coming by boat, or plane. I don't know if it's stuck in customs, or what. I just wish it had been clearer that the item I was buying was not in the same country!
Seller Response:Your package still has been in "ready for pick up" status since Feb 06. Please contact USPS to redelivery or pick up at local post office. (Check the track the shipment at USPS website with tracking# indiacted in your invoice.)

My original shipment was lost in the mail. This seller immediately refunded my money so I could reorder the item and then shipped the new item FedEx express at no additional cost to me. This level of customer service is noteworthy. I would highly recommend this seller (even with the lost shipment) as they are responsible and responsive and completed the sale in a professional manner.

    Basic Policy

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
