Not sure about the experiences from the other customers, but I was 100% delighted with AJ Madison. I live in San Diego, CA and expected the shipment to take at minimum 2-3 weeks. Instead, I received my major appliance in just 8 days after placing my order. LOVE AJ Madison!

Ordered on a stove on a Sunday evening. It was delivered on Thursday. AM Home Delivery called the day before to notify me of the delivery. The driver called me thirty minutes before the delivery.

The stove arrived in great shape and has been working well so far.

Rating + 2 Don't Believe The Shipping Time

The price was great, and the product arrived in good condition. But 5-7 days ("business days", at that) for shipment was actually almost a month!

If delivery time matters to you at all, chose another seller. If this seller's price seems too good to be true, it's because they're not being straight about the shipping time.

Rating + 1 Horrible shipping

I ordered a new refrigerator from this company 2 weeks ago, and was told that I would have 3-7 day shipping. I am at 12 days as of right now, and the shipping company they use (AM Delivery) still shows it in transit from New York with no updates in 7 days. Customer support is closed for the majority of the month of September due to various holidays. I am unable to contact them for any help.

If you are reading this, don't order from this seller, I should have listened to the other people complaining about their shipping and support.

If I could rate them lower than 1 egg, I would... I am contacting newegg for support from them with regards to this.

Rating + 3 Good Products- No good Shipping Communication

I purchased a fridge, Great price! Shipping said 5-7 business days. However, 5-7 BEFORE it was shipped, and an additional 3 weeks to arrive. When emailing the seller, he sends a generic email stating it was shipped and to call this # after these times. First off, the times are when they are closed. So, call during typical operating business times. The shipping number is in a seperate email that was initially provided, and not given in follow up email. I did get a hold of the shippers, they said AJ Madison puts the product on a train, which adds another week or so to the shipping.
Aside from the lack of shipping communication, the product i received was great! The best price i have found from anywhere, PLUS free shipping. I would buy again, but know the shipping is longer than expected.

Rating + 1 Would not return applicance

I ordered an AC unit and was called prior to the delivery. The delivery men found our office which is a difficult task in our building. They did let the AC unit (which weighs about 140 lbs) drop when it was laying on it's side to it's bottom.
I needed to return the AC unit because we were unable to upgrade our electrical to support this unit. I asked if I could swap the unit with a model they sell that supports our electrical and they were unable to do anything. I was unable to speak with a manager directly about the issue and they were unable to help. I understand that this was my issue but it would be nice if you could return or exchange items. I did not see the no return policy on Newegg's page when ordering.
As a customer support manager I understand how customers want to be treated and this is not the way to do business.

Rating + 1 Seller has no control over there shipper AM Home delivery

Ordered 4-24-2013. Left New York 4-26-2013 for delivery. Arrived Florida 4-28-2013. Shipper AM Home delivery says it will not be this week, nothing headed your way so maybe next week. Ordered 4-24-2013 with 5 to 7 day delivery. Anticipated delivery May 6 to the 10th. if some thing is going to my area of the state. AJ Madison notified, did nothing.

    Damaged Shipments:
    All of our shipments are 100% insured. It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for your merchandise. Though your box and packaging may appear intact, it is still possible that your product may be damaged. Check for both internal and external damage before accepting delivery. If you notice damage to the product, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Please call our customer service department immediately at and we will issue a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). If damage issues arise after signing for the merchandise, you are responsible for filing all claims with the shipper. Therefore a thorough inspection of all packages is important before signing. If your item was shipped via UPS, call UPS at 800-pick-ups with your tracking number to report a damaged item.
    Defective Merchandise:

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail.
