Rating + 1 Typical Bait and Switch

Adorama advertised the SanDisk 256 GB usb 3.0 flash drive (SDCZ48-256G-A46) at an attractive price but shipped the 128 GB drive in its place and refused to honor its advertised item and price, maintaining that the 256GB drive was no longer in stock. Of course, the 256GB drive appeared back in stock the next day but at an increased price. Be careful.

i purchased 2 of these for $597 and found it for $499 with free shipping and have been trying to get a price match to no avail and i spent A LOT of money with for you guys for many years. i called and was left on hold till i hung up and the live chat just said "open" but nothing else.

I emailed them early in the morning to ask if the Nikon WU-1b was compatible with my camera and they said It was not.I then called them to cancel my order and they said it had been shipped a day ago.So I got Newegg to help me they said it had not been shipped.They then emailed the seller and low and behold it was shipped after I tried to cancel it.

I had to RMA a bad part from Newegg once. Very smooth and efficient process, A+, not here though.

Since Newegg was out of stock on a drive I wanted, and I thought that Newegg vetted their vendors, I ordered one here. They shipped me a drive that was DOA. When I tried to RMA it, I made the mistake of mentioning that the box was slightly crushed due to poor packaging (a subtle complaint about the packaging), so they filed a claim with UPS for shipping damages. That is the beginning of the nightmare. Tried to explain that there was no physical damage to the drive, in response they sent me a link to the lost package process at UPS and told me I had to wait 10 days for that process! What? UPS will make the same conclusion, that shipping did not cause any damage to the drive. I ordered and paid for this drive 8 days ago, have to wait another 10 and will be right back at square 1. Now here I am; out $375.00 with no RMA and no resolution in sight. Newegg should remove them as a vendor.

I purchased a 256GB USB thumb drive and they sent the wrong item. Instead, they sent a 128GB version and generated a separate different invoice and order number representing the different item. It was necessary to prove to them the original order invoice for them to rectify the item and only offer a refund. Meanwhile, the wrong/misrepresented item continues to be for sale via the Newegg site with the same price

Rating + 1 Still waiting for my return to be refunded

I ordered a notebook through Newegg which was fulfilled by Andorama Camera. I had to return it due to the many issues I had with it, but this is not what this review is about...

Throughout this entire return process, I have had quite a bit of trouble getting a response from Andorama without first going through Newegg's own support who then is able to get their attention. I would never normally write a negative review as I too work in an online retail environment and know of the challenges that can be had, but we are 2 months in to this now with no resolution and no sign of a refund of the $1300+ purchase. I sent the Notebook back immediately, yet no funds have been returned to me as of yet. This is unacceptable under any circumstance.

Rating + 2 Disappointed with shipping delay and service

I normally never bother rating sellers but it was more of a headache to get my order than I would have though from a reputable seller. First issue was the order wasn't shipped until over a week after it was received without any explanation for the delay. For being "in stock and ready to ship" that's not acceptable. Second was that they underpaid for shipping so I had to go to the post office to pick it up and pay the difference. To their credit, they did refund the amount. I will definitely hesitate to order from them in the future.

I have been a Newegg customer for quite awhile and this is the first seller within Newegg that actually made me want to really consider not purchasing from Newegg. I purchased 3 Dell printers and all 3 had the same issue. I contacted seller to let them know the printers didn't work, they told me that I had to contact Dell directly. When contacting Dell they informed me that the "Brand New" printers I purchased had already been registered and that they no longer had the normal factory warranty due to the age of them since their registration. Evidently they are or appear to be brand new but because of the prior registration Dell no longer treats them as new but used. I have yet to get any resolution to my purchase from the seller or Dell. This seller definitely does not hold up to standing by the products they are selling and misrepresents the products that they are selling especially when considering that the products aren't even eligible for the manufactures warranty. Do Not Recommend!

    Return Policy
    For the first 30 days after your purchase you may return merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges. Simply download and fill out the Return Merchandise form. All returns must meet our guidelines.

    Returned or exchanged products must be in brand new, mint condition, and have all original manufacturer's packaging, materials, and accessories, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and blank warranty cards.

    Merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The original manufacturer's labeled packaging should be enclosed within an outer shipping box. Please do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer's packaging.

    Securely package the product and include the filled out Return Merchandise Form and a copy of the original invoice.

    Ship the parcel back to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD or freight collect shipments. We recommend a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance.

    TV Return Policy:
    •TV's Up to and including 47" All TV's up to and including 47" that are sealed in the original manufacturer box (never opened) may be returned within 30 days for a refund. You will receive the purchase price less shipping charges (Items that qualified for free shipping that are being returned will have our standard shipping charges deducted from the refund or credit.) You must insure the product when you ship it back to cover possible damages that may occur during transit. Any free offers that you received along with this purchase must be returned. A fee will be charged for any items that were not returned.
    •TV's over 47" cannot be returned. In the unlikely event a TV is defective the warranty is to be handled thru the manufacturer. When your TV is delivered please inspect the TV for any obvious damage. A broken or damaged outer box is a first sign that your TV may have been damaged in transit. Open the box immediately and inspect your TV. If the TV is damaged, have the driver note it on the delivery document and contact us immediately to report the damage and file a claim.
    Items from the following categories may not be returned:
    •Printers cannot be returned once toner, ink, or ribbon cartridges have been installed.
    •Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, iPads and Computers cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or unwrapped.
    •Underwater photography equipment cannot be returned once it has been used in water.
    •Cell phones and smart phones will only be accepted for credit or exchange if they register less than 10 minutes cumulative talk time and show no sign of use. Defective phones will be exchanged for the same model only.
    If the above conditions are not met, Adorama has the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
