Rating + 1 Terrible return policy and terrible products.

Terrible. They do not stand by their products and only offer a 15 day period before you can return a defective product. I will never buy from them again and it is a shame that Newegg partners with them.

Rating + 1 Battery Not as Advertised

The battery advertised was not the same and did not fit the Yoga 2 pro 13. the seller DID take the battery back, but would not process a full refund, even though it was not my fault. I am very dissatisfied with my experience with this seller and would not recommend them to anyone. Had a full refund been provided, I would not have given a bad review, as it is understandable mistakes can be made, but in the end, I had to pay for their mistake.

We received a battery that did not work. We returned it with RMA and the seller sent us a message saying it was opened and damaged so we would not get credit back. We asked for pictures to verify, but we have not heard anything back.

Sony Laptop Battery came Dead on Arrival. Had to send back and the Seller charged restocking also. New Egg paid me for the return Shipment Charge but the sellers has Rubbish Obsolete Product and Service. Think Several times before you buy from this seller?????

Rating + 3 Good Service, Wrong Battery

Great customer service. But unfortunately I did not see the bottom text of the ad. I wish they would put these word in BOLD, maybe in the title. Just because your model number is in the title, DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL FIT. Take a look at your old battery before ordering to ensure you have the right model because the connectors are different. I have to pay return shipping and a $9.74 restocking fee...OUCH

I purchased batteries from Amsahr, and they shipped the wrong batteries. The batteries I received will not even fit in my camcorder. I requested an exchange, and they agreed but required I pay return shipping. I asked that they pay the shipping but the response was that the batteries I received, though not correct, were completely compatible. I will probably pay return shipping just to get the right batteries, but will not buy from this seller again. Also, Newegg did not respond to my request for help in dealing with the seller (not even a reply to say they would not do anything!). I sent follow up messages asking Newegg for a response, but got none. Consequently, I do not plan on buying items from marektplace sellers.

    Amsahr offers an exclusive 30-day return policy on many items sold by Amsahr. Beyond the 30-Day return policy is an extended full warranty available for many products to cover repair or replacement of defective items up to 18 months from date of purchase. All returns and exchanges require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which can be obtained by emailing Amsahr customer service at or by calling (805) 497-3284 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Customers should provide their Order ID number, products requested to be returned, and the reason for the request. RMA numbers remain valid for 30 days.

    No credit for defective merchandise is authorized for damaged returns due to abuse or physical damage. Non-defective merchandise and defective merchandise due to manufacture defects or normal wear and tear may be returned within 30 days of purchase for exchange, refund, or store credit. Returns accepted after 30 days from date of purchase will be subject to the 25% re-stocking fee. Customers will either receive an exchange or store credit for returned merchandise for orders over 30 days from date of purchase.

    Any merchandise returned to us without authorization or a RMA number will be refused. We are not responsible for lost items by carriers during shipment to and from the customer. Outgoing and return shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances. C.O.D. shipments are not accepted. All returns are subject to inspection. An RMA number does not guarantee final disposition of product(s). Customers should allow 6 to 10 business days for returns to be processed

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
