Rating + 2 Product came with damage

A monitor I bought came with a damage to the base of the stand. Yeah, it was just cosmetic, but if you are spending $500+ on a product, you'd be expecting something better too. Also, had to pay the shipping myself for a replacement... so I ended up not being able to replace the item.

I accidentally ordered an item which was unfortunately from this seller (thought I added another item to my cart). I immediately contacted newegg and they sent an email to the seller requesting them to cancel the item (8/14/15). They responded that say saying they would make sure it wasn't shipped and they would cancel it... 8/18/15 they went ahead and shipped it anyways, and are now asking me to pay the shipping to return it to them. I don't think so!

Contacted newegg and they said once I get the item to contact them back and newegg would request them to give me a pre-paid shipping label, if they refuse to (which the customer service rep said was likely they would), then I need to take a picture of the receipt and send it to newegg and they'll charge beach audio for the shipping cost to return it to them.

These people knew for four days I didn't want this item, and the scum bags sent it anyways. I will never buy from these people EVER.

Rating + 1 Not ethical = Not happy

Was sold an open-box item (a signage media player that was intended for menus) that was unpacked, damaged, was missing items (velcro straps for mounting device - referenced in the manual!), and obviously not inspected. Needed for business, and it was urgent. Thankfully was able to borrow an unused media player from another location, or we would been unable to open business.

Selling open-box items in listing for new items is UNETHICAL. I used to be a purchaser for a large corporation that buys >$5M/y in IT spend (so I have lot of experience here!), and most sellers list open-box items in separate listing at discount. Will no longer buy from this seller.

I placed an order for a cable 9 days ago and still see no movement on the tracking number. I inquired only to receive the tracking number again. Last time I order from a third party through Newegg. Be careful who you order from.

Rating + 1 Shipped the wrong item!

Need I say more. Then when you call them - guess what - you can't talk to live person and have to email. So I emailed 2 pics, one of the packing list with the actual item ordered and a second of the item they actually shipped and asked how we should proceed. I received an email in return that said "Can you please provide more detail as to how this is the incorrect order?" Replied to that a week ago and haven't heard anything at all.     Excluded Items - Due to their fragility, the following items may not be returned once received for any reason: Televisions 42" and larger, furniture (including massage chairs), and large appliances such as refrigerators. In addition, due to manufacturer restrictions, the following items can not be returned to us once they have been removed from their original product packaging: computers and notebooks, video projectors, video games, DVD´s, computer games, computer software, CD duplicators, air conditioners, ventilation systems, ceiling fans and activated satellite receiver units (DirecTV, Sirius, XM, etc).

    Defective Items - Defective items other then those mentions in "Excluded Items" above may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Due to the complexity of internet transactions, we do not offer exchanges, however we will gladly credit the outgoing ground shipping costs of a replacement order. Please notify us of the order number if a replacement order is made for a freight credit. Note: if the replacement is purchased using express shipping, only the Ground freight delivery cost will be refunded.

    Non-Defective Items - ALL non defective items may be returned for 30 days after delivery date. These returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Opened items must be in re-sellable condition and have ALL original packaging, accessories, manuals and warranty cards included. A larger restocking fee (20-50%) will be applied if the item is returned in a condition that prevents us from re-selling it.

    Damaged Items - In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please refuse shipment if the damage is external or notify us within 24 hours if the damage is concealed. WE CAN NOT ACCEPT DAMAGE CLAIMS AFTER 24 HOURS from sign date. Beach Audio, at it's sole discretion, will either ship a replacement or issue a full refund when and if the claim is settled with the carrier. Items shipped to freight forwarders must be inspected for damage prior to fowarding shipment. No damage claims will be accepted once an item leaves a freight forwarder.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
