I recently purchased a so called OEM lamp for my projector from this seller. The box was a generic box with no manufacturer markings at all. It had a white label on it that anyone with a label maker could have printed off. The lamp also had no markings at all on the housing or on the bulb which makes it very plausible that they are selling Chinese knockoffs hoping that only a small % of people will notice..
The lamp failed around 50 hours of use. What is more aggravating is that you can not get an RMA using the Request RMA button in Newegg. You have to go to the sellers website and try to get an RMA from there. After submitting for an RMA on their website and through newegg, I still have not received even an automated reply to know if they even got the RMA request. I guess I can just sit back and wait another week and assume my message went somewhere.
Seller Response:We work with every customer to resolve any issues that may occur. We are not trying to deceive any customers with regards to what we are selling. When we buy our items from the manufacturer we are buying them in huge quantities and they are packaged in large cases, not individual boxes. This is the case because its more economical to ship. The bulbs themselves are marked with the respective manufacturers name. Customers can be confused by this at times and its understanding but the quality of the item is fully backed and supported by our company.

All RMA request are completed within 48 hours and this customers RMA was in his "junk" folder. If we make a mistake, we will own it and fix it. In this case everything was accurate and we tried our best to help.

I never received the product. There is a tracking number, but it is invalid. No product even though i paid and it says it was shipped.
Seller Response:The package was dropped off at the post office and clearly seems to be lost at this point. We have filed a claim with the postal service and are offering a refund or a replacement.These things happen from time to time but we ship on time and accurately. Unfortunately every business has to rely on mailing vendors to get items to our customers and packages do get lost on occasion but we always work to fix the issue.

Piece works great so far...Only thing is, I ordered 2 day shipping, they ordered 2-day shipping, as requested, the carrier (USPS) failed to do 2-day, did 3 day...only suggestion would be to use a different carrier that pulls through with their commitments.

They sent me a knock-off projector bulb instead of the original Epson branded one that I ordered. On the plus side, they were quick to respond and are giving me a full refund, less return shipping. They did a lot of things right, but not sending me what was presented and paid for is a pretty big deal.

This seller is wonderful to work with. I received a lamp & housing timely but needed to return it as my TV had a different issue causing the malfunction. The seller emailed me a return label promptly and it didn't cost me a anything, not even a restocking fee. You made this experience easy and I would love to do business with you again. Thank you.

Rating + 1 3rd time must be the charm to get a response

Horrendous customer service. Purchased a ShopJimmy Samsung BP96-00608A Replacement Lamp w/Housing 6,000 Hour Life & 1 Year Warranty for my Samsung SAMSUNG HLP5063W. Even though the description said it was OEM it turned out to be only an OEM equivalent. The bulb lasted less than 2 hours before burning out. Attempted to contact the seller per the information on their seller's profile page.

Took a combination of 3 calls and emails to get an RMA # and return instructions. With confirmation of delivery and receipt from the shipping service I waited 5 days for any information from the seller. Upon receiving none, I started calling and emailing the seller. Again it took a combination of 3 calls and emails before I received a response. This time the response came directly from Newegg late that evening with a new RMA # saying it was being processed and I would receive a refund in 3 -5 days.

I realize that even though I would like them to be,companies cannot provide an immediate response. However, because of their false description and lack of communication I would look for a different supplier of DLP replacement bulbs.
