Rating + 5 Excellent customer service

I purchased three hard drives from this seller; two worked perfectly out of the box, though the third was not recognized by my drive enclosure, even after switching bays. I contacted the seller, who arranged an RMA. I sent back the defective disk and received a replacement within a few days. While the communication was terse, they were responsive to my inquiries during the RMA process and the replacement drive worked properly.

Would happily purchase from this seller again.

Rating + 1 Lousy Packaging

Ordered 12 4tb SAS drives, they may as well of slapped a stamp on each bare drive and dropped it in the mailbox. Now I have to individually test each drive right away to make sure they weren't damaged in the box. Does it really take that much to properly pack harddrives for shipping? I may send back all 12 and try again...

Rating + 1 not honoring cancel requests

I used the e-mail link to request a cancellation but i got charged anyway and the order shipped despite my request. I will get this thing rma'd and returned but i should have been able to get this cancelled as i was able to find it substantially cheaper elsewhere.
Seller Response:Customer requested us to cancel his order after we dropped off the package at Fedex. We courteously suggested him to reject the package at the time of delivery so that he doesn't have to pay for return shipping but he was looking for immediate refund.

DOA Drives 3 out of4

Rating + 1 Massive drive damage, DOA 3/4

These drives arrived so poorly packed that 3 out of 4 were DOA. One was so badly damaged that the SATA connection was almost completely snapped off. I have received shipments from online auctions packed by people sitting at a kitchen table that were packed better than this. USPS envelopes?! Are you kidding me?! The NewEgg sub vendor CA Server Pro, needs to have a talk with their shipping department as this order was amateur hour.
Love NewEgg, VERY Disappointed in CA Server Pro.
Seller Response:We took full responsibility of the damage and took corrective action quickly. Customer received new drives a few days following the reporting of this incident.

Rating + 3 Packaging doesnt compare to directly from newegg

Ordered a very expensive 4TB SAS drive and was surprised at how little packaging was in the box and could easily of shifted around...Have not tested the drive yet but fingers crossed.

RMA Policy
    Returns postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date will be accepted with 15% restocking fee. No returns will be allowed after 30 days. Contact us for RMA number before returning it. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. For items that were shipped free of charge to customers, shipping cost will be deducted from the refund on top of the restocking fee. If the item is defective and is under warranty, please contact us and we will assist you in pursuing a warranty claim with the manufacturer.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
