5 out of 5 eggsTablet of the Starving Digital Artists.

Pros: Fantastic tablet for $70. You can draw and such and life is a party. I can't compare it to one's that are $200 or more, because that would be unfair and just silly.
I COULD compare it to my last wacom bamboo tablet I had for many years beforehand, which was almost twice as small and would constantly have connection issues with.
I think the amount of drawing space is snazzy.
The surface gives off a feeling like you are drawing on paper.

Cons: Cord is a tad short, but I'm not bleeding and the world will go on. So far, no other problems I have encountered. I wouldn't feed it after midnight.

Overall Review: Great for artists on a budget and ones that wish to dabble into digital art. Good for new and old artists.
If you purchase, plug the thing in before shoving the disc in. The disc box lies to you.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Very fast shipping. Seven hours ago it was a couple hundred miles away!

I've owned an intuos4 before. The functionality to this one is very similar, even though the intuos is more ergonomic. That does not mean this is a bad tablet! I feel like these new bamboo pen tablets are very well engineered.

If you're on the fence between purchasing this or an intuos, I'd suggest only buying the intuos if you are planning on spending several hours a day drawing. Otherwise, bamboo all the way!

Cons: None so far!

4 out of 5 eggsLovely

Pros: Very light. Active area seems small, but after 15-20 minutes of use it feels plenty big enough.

The pen is rather comfortable.

Doesn't leach battery from my laptop as I've seen other usb devices do.

Cons: Cons: the pen doesn't have an eraser side, SO FAR. I'm still playing around with it, looking for all the ins and outs.

The Launcher thing, when you plug it in kinda gets in the way, but its closed easily.

Overall Review: Lovely product, Comes with a few art programs, which work very nicely if you are a beginner/ are looking to get a program.

Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a tablet that needs something effective, simple, lightweight and easy to carry.

5 out of 5 eggsInteresting

Pros: I got this more for hobbying, but it is pretty good It takes getting used to, but the text recognition works pretty well. I used it to write this, but it's hard not seeing a response on the tablet.

Cons: The LCD ones are $1000.

Overall Review: You can get used to the writing.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: This is my first tablet, I'm a graphic designer and have been wanting to try one for a while and when I saw the bamboo on sale I thought I'd give it a try.

I like the texture of the tablet, it feels nice on my had. it's a reasonable size. I haven't had a nib go out yet, but I've noticed some ware on it already. I got a small baggie of replacements though.

Works great with Illustrator and Photoshop!

Doubles as a mouse with some cool gesture features!

Cons: The buttons on the pen, I still accidently push them which can be annoying.

Overall Review: Because I'm new it's probably just me, but I tend to rotate paper and such while drawing. But the tablet does not know its orientation so it takes a little hand eye coordination.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect.

Pros: Everything. Easy to use, hardly takes any time at all to get used to, fun to just use (something I really didn't expect), and just overall works perfectly.

Cons: I haven't seen any at all.

Overall Review: Software is really nice, you probably want to use SketchBookExpress for drawing, as it's the easiest (IMO) for drawing. The software also comes with a little dock for apps and such that you can customize.

3 out of 5 eggsI got nibbed

Pros: Decent size drawing area. Nice paper like feel. Good amount of pressure levels. Pen feels nice & comfortable.

Cons: Less than a week into using it we already have to replace one of the 3 nibs that come with it. Replacements are expensive. After experiencing this problem I checked online for similar issues with other people and sure enough, for some of the Wacom tablets, this is a major problem. We now have to try some of the "made up" solutions, that Wacom suggests, to try and increase the life of the pen nibs. Like taping a smooth piece of paper or plastic to the tablet?

Overall Review: This could be a really great 5 egg product if Wacom would get this nib situation with some of their tablet surfaces under control.

5 out of 5 eggsFun product, but I'm left-handed...

Pros: This is an extremely interesting and fun product to use. It comes with a dashboard that lets you install games and productivity software to use with it. This is the perfect size tablet for a leisure user or someone who's never used one before.

Cons: I've found the usb cable to be unreasonably short -- nothing a usb extension cable can't fix, but a short-coming of the product for sure (no pun intended). This is by no means a cause for a drop of an egg.

Overall Review: I'm left-handed. I originally purchased this product after seeing one of my co-workers use it instead of a mouse. I decided I'd try it for a week and either use it permanently or put it on the shelf and only pull it out for art projects. Since I'm so used to using a right-handed mouse, normal computer use is almost impossible for me being left-handed, and thus I retired it within the first day. Not the products fault, just thought I'd warn the unwary.

5 out of 5 eggsA-

Pros: hey buy this, its really great. I liked buying it. I'll probably hardly use it but I like to take notes.

Cons: kind of a short cord included but oh well.

Overall Review: their might not be a eraser function but you can always use the button on the pen to right click and undo a stroke.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tablet!

Pros: This tablet is very fun and easy to use. Setup is very simple (plug in, install drivers, ready to go!) The price wasn't bad. Also the software that came with it was nice, but I needed something with a bit more depth so I purchased Autodesk Sketchbook Pro.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsWorks Sometimes

Pros: When it wants to work it does good

Cons: A lot of the time it will randomly draw horribly. The tablet will work, but the lines are very jagged, rough, and bumpy even when i do the smoothest line I can and I can not figure out why for my life it does this. The cord is HORRIBLY small and barely reaches the USB port on my tower.

4 out of 5 eggsNice beginner's tablet

Pros: *Easy to install
*Excellent price -- I got it on sale, but even without the sale, the price was pretty good.
*Light on resources
*Free full-use graphics software included -- we own an Adobe suite, and the tablet works really well with it, but the free software is perfectly usable and offers some features that Adobe can, of course, accomplish, but with a bit of hoop-jumping and advanced knowledge needed.
*Works with Windows 7 out of the box, and it even works well with Ubuntu on a netbook without having to apt-get a million little dependencies to make it work. (Used with GIMP and InkScape on Ubuntu.)

Cons: *The pen is too big for the wife's hand. She is used to drawing with regular pens, pencils, and smaller artist's paintbrushes. The pen that the Splash comes with is about the same size as one of those pens that has 4 different colours in it.
*The cord is really short -- it is clear this thing was meant for a laptop, not a desktop setup. Thankfully, both of our desktop towers are close to the desk surface with USB ports near the top.
*Nibs seem to wear down fairly quickly, especially when the pressure features are in play. Shutting that off and manually changing brush size seems to increase the longevity of the nibs while leaving behind fewer scuff marks.

Overall Review: We bought this graphics tablet for my wife. She's been an artist for years, but has not owned a tablet since around 2004, and she wanted to get back into digital work. The tablet is fantastic, and it's like drawing on a small-format sketchbook. The only real drawback is the pen. If you buy this tablet, consider one of the compatible pens that are the same diameter as a pencil for more comfort if you have smaller hands or are used to smaller drawing implements.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Item

Pros: This device is so accurate and smooth that it is as like drawing on paper, maybe better.

Cons: There are no cons that the artist I bought this for has commented upon other than she did have issues with "pressure sensitivity," as she put it, but that turned out to be an issue in the operating system and not in the device. The information to adjust OS settings was easily found by her on the manufacturer's website forum and easy for her to follow.

Overall Review: I bought this for an aspiring young artist in our family and she is able to sketch using this in the same or better quality than she can on paper. She is able to effortlessly zoom in on edges and small areas for finely detailed work that I would think, being a non-artist myself, would be difficult with paper and pen since she can pinpoint every pixel individually. She was able to match or even exceed her pen and pencil work with very little time spent becoming accustomed to the new media.

Another plus is that distributing additional copies can be done with them as crisp and clean as the original whereas scanning or other means of photoduplication seem to degrade colors and clarity during copying.

As I said above, I am not an artist but I watch her work with her Bamboo as if it were as natural to art as any other media she works with. An actual artist would be able to give a better review than an armchair artist but I could not get her to write it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smaller, portable - compared to a friend's which is much larger and in my opinion not worth the extra money. This is a perfect size.

Shipped fast!

First tablet, so I can't really speak volumes about the quality compared to other brands.

Cons: Button (RMB) on the side of the pen always gets bumped while I'm drawing and sometimes messes stuff up. Probably just a byproduct of the way I hold pens.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: - The pinpoint software makes the pen even more useful instead of staying in mouse mode all the time (forcing you to continuously draw back and replace your pen on the upper right corner or so )
- Gets the job done
- Amazing price for beginners ( that's me, for art! )

Cons: - Way too short of a cord for today's size and position of USB inputs ( Some people have computers on the right side
- incapable of reversing the mapping
- no extra leds for the pen so you can get the pressure sensitivity better
- no way to replace led
- button placement irritating, middle-mouse button is already jammed in for me

Overall Review: The little flap on the end with the wacom logo can be used for the pen holder

1 out of 5 eggsWorked well, for the first 3 hours I had it.

Pros: Nice tablet, that worked very well despite some lag here and there. Comes with neat software.

Cons: I got to use my tablet for 3 hours, and then had to go to work. When I got home, the thing was useless. I can't draw, write, or anything other than use it as a single-click mouse. This is because when I returned, for no reason my pen decided to ONLY right click when in applications. The pen works fine on the desktop, and will left click, however when I open up the Bamboo dock or Art Rage Studio, the pen will ONLY right click, rendering the entire thing useless. There have been little to no solutions online, and all my searches have turned up to be positive reviews and websites selling the tablet. Very frustrated and disappointed that I spent $80 something on a tablet that literally lasted me 3 hours.

1 out of 5 eggsTERRIBLE DESIGN

Pros: never got to the pros

Cons: the pen cannot be calibrated to change the speed, rendering the tablet useless. the pen is auto calibrated to your monitor, so the larger your monitor the faster your pen willl move. I have a low-end tablet from over 10 years ago that allows you to change the speed of the pen just like you can do with your mouse on any PC. what gives?
