1 out of 5 eggsdoes not rock.

Pros: soft quiet keys

Cons: cheap, poorly made

Overall Review: 2 keys already breaking off and I don't feel like I abused it or was particularly rough. waste of money. going to try to return if they let me. waste of time.

5 out of 5 eggsSexy. Solid.

Pros: This is my second i-rocks keyboard and I'm quickly becoming a fan. This new design shows definite improvements and is very comfortable to use. Keystrokes are short and responsive, with near silent typing. Aesthetics are both subtle and sexy.

Cord length was ample for my box that sits on the floor.

Scissor-keys are comfortable to both type and game on.

Price.

Cons: Layout is a little unorthodox and tightly spaced, so there's a bit of a learning curve with a few of the keys - namely 'delete', 'esc' and 'backspace'. The function keys are also a bit tricky, as they don't have the typical separation between them and the number keys.

While gaming I've hit the Windows key a couple times now going for left Alt. Need to relearn.

Overall Review: When I first opened it up I was a little surprised with how small it is. It's a full keyboard for sure, yet still very compact and slim.

I'm slightly skeptical about the markings on the keys and their longevity. They appear to be stickers, and if you run your fingernail along them you can definitely make out a raised edge. I'm wondering if they won't start wearing off after awhile.....

LED lights come off as a bit bright, but they don't bother me. It's a nice common blue that should match other computer components.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard!

Pros: This keyboard has been relatively wonderful. Smooth, Quiet, Easy to press buttons, it's fantastic!

Cons: Not a single one

Overall Review: I am an avid PC Gamer, despite what the guy below says, this keyboard is fine for gaming. Trust me.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little (BIG) KB

Pros: This KB is pretty nice. Keys are perfectly spaced for a full size KB. Its has a full 10 key and direction arrows, but is 2 inches narrower than a standard "Dell/HP" desktop keyboard. This works perfectly on my desk that has a narrow keyboard drawer. It allows me to have the keyboard and full mouse pad side by side. I use dual monitors and ACAD on a daily basis so the full width KB really started to hinder the full motion I needed for the mouse use. The keys take a couple days to get used to, but overall the key spacing is identical to the Dell KB I was using.

Price was also perfect for a KB. And Neweggs RMA team was awesome!

Cons: First one had to be RMA's. The zero key "0" was sticky or had some issues. It would randomly type zeros which caused havoc in ACAD as well. But Newegg is awesome when it comes to RMA's, so this was not worth knocking a star. Most MFG's expect between 5-10% failure rate in high production products.

Not really a con, but has taken some getting used to. I used a Dell KB for a few years now and the back-space key on it was double width, so it has taken me a little to get used to the single width backspace.

Also delete/insert are located above the numbers by the "F" keys. This was required to get the overall width narrower and has taken some get used to. Again, not really a "CON".

Only real CON would be the brightness of the indicator LEDS. They are extremely bright blue which can be distracting. I actually placed some tape over them to dull the brightness.

Overall Review: This has been a perfect compact yet full size keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsThis keyboard is trash

Pros: It does what you want. Works as it is supposed to.

Cons: I can't rate it too low, as it does work, but the layout on this keyboard is atrocious. I didn't know how bad it would actually be until I got it, but if you are an avid gamer/type without looking at the keyboard DO NOT BUY THIS. Everything is different and it is not in a good way.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty cool keyboard But...

Pros: keys are very quiet and easy to press, small size

Cons: the leds can seem a bit bright if you have sensitive or tired eyes..

one tip I do wanna give, DO NOT PULL OUT the keys from the keyboard!! Even though they are able to be snapped off, I don't think they designed them for that. I pulled one out because little piece of rice fell inside a key and they are impossible to put back!! the little pieces of plastic pushing the key up just seem to fall apart and/or break. So don't take out the keys unless you want to have to buy another keyboard like Im going to have to do...

5 out of 5 eggsWhy are so many complaining about getting something that is exactly as described?

Pros: Great keyboard. Compact, notebook-style layout (which is how they advertise it).

Cons: Too many are complaining about the flat keys and the notebook style layout. Why are all of these people complaining about these things when these things are in the description of this item? That type of person shouldn't be permitted to post their "reviews".

5 out of 5 eggsGreat feel and response

Pros: Really happy with the construction and scissor-style keys. Very familiar to me after using a laptop for so long, but still feels sturdy.

Cons: Num lock, etc. LEDs are insanely bright blue.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: I love this keyboard, love the touching. To me this is high quality. No useless plastic space all around the keys for nothing.

Cons: Yes the leds are VERY bright lol (I even wonder how the usb can provide such power, I wonder what happens on a laptop)
You'll often hit backslash instead of backspace at the beginning.

Overall Review: I would call the "windows" key "super", because why should it have the windows logo ? ... I didn't pay for a windows license, I don't deserve any windows logo in my home.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good keyboard

Pros: I love the keypress "feel" and tactile feedback of this keyboard. This is very important to me - many keyboards today feel "squishy" to me.

Cons: Layout: I knew going in I'd dislike the layout of this keyboard (the big enter key pushes the \ key up to where I normally hit backspace.) I'm getting used to that.

My KVM doesn't recognize the scroll-lock button, so I can't <scroll-lock><scroll-lock>-[1,2] to switch between computers. (IOGEAR 4-port miniview extreme.)

Overall Review: Not sure I like the flat keys, but I'm getting used to them. I wish they'd make a wired one without the number pad.

Pros: exactly what I wanted to try.
very low profile.
little blue led always on, when computer in standby/sleep.
so far, I like it a lot.
cost effective.

Cons: some keys should be full-size (Esc).
little hard to get used to, since it is different than my notebook, but it's what I expected.

5 out of 5 eggsVery comfortable

Pros: -Nice cool black design
-Good quality for the price
-the keys are very soft, you don't have to press hard
-Overall a cool looking keyboard

Cons: The LEDs are VERY bright!! It has four that signal the power, num lock, caps lock, and scroll lock, and if you have them all on it can really seem blinding if you have sensitive eyes. I have all the locks off so just the power one is on but its still pretty bright. Anyways.. the backspace key is kind of compact as the arrow keys are also, but overall its a great keyboard for the price

5 out of 5 eggsgreat keyboard

Pros: Great keyboard. Like some others mentioned a few of the keys are in a non standard fit.. but I expected it and am already getting used to it. Greta price with great quality. I wish this one was backlit.. I didn't like the key layout of their backlit model as well.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Looks cool
-Scissor structure so the keyboard feels like a laptop keyboard
-No gigantic scratch prone glossy surfaces
-Relatively inexpensive
-Slim

Cons: -Is the LED indicating the power, really necessary ?
-arrows keys are a bit small
-Backspace key a little too small
-Home, pgup pgdn and end keys are used by pressing Fn and one of the arrow keys (doesn't really bother me though)

Overall Review: I purchased this to replace my black i-rocks kr-6170 (that I broke) which no one seems to stock. Overall this keyboard is just as good as that one.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Initially worked as advertised, very similar to a laptop keyboard.

Cons: Insert key stopped working withing a week, and spacebar does not always register anymore. This is pathetic as it has only recieved several hours of use.

4 out of 5 eggsSurprised -- much better than expected

Pros: Solid build, soothing feel to type on. My fingers aren't hating the keyboard either, so it's extremely comfortable, especially compared to my old Saitek. I love this thing. It's just such a nice feeling to it. It is a very lean and thin keyboard, which is really cool; it makes my desk look nice and elegant. It has props in the back, like most keyboards, except these ones aren't cheap feeling, surprisingly -- they have a sort of "light" snap to them when you prop them in and out...in a good way.

The coating on the top of the keys feels very rugged too, it isn't glossy or laminate feeling. So it makes it more resistant to sweat and fingerprints, etc.; as well as slippage.

Cons: Please note the backspace key is the size of a regular letter key. This may take some getting used to for some...But thankfully, I have long & skinny fingers, so my pinky is already used to it after about an hour. As someone else mentioned, Winkey is now shifted one to the right (due to Fn), like a laptop. Basically a lot of it is just like an extended laptop's keyboard.

Page up/down, home/end is taking some getting used to. Since it's bound to Fn up/down/left/right arrows. I use it quite a bit coding, so hopefully it'll be easy to grow accustomed to.

Also as was mentioned, the Power LED is on all the time. Some may not like this, but I personally like lights. Now, the real *point* of the power LED is rather useless imo ;)

I don't see why they had to make the enter key an "L" shaped one. They could have not done so, and then the backspace key could be the same as everything else. I think that would kill many people's gripes with it.

Overall Review: I used this to replace my Saitek Eclipse. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but I felt like I wanted one of those Mac-style chiclet keyboards. This fits the bill quite well, and is dirt cheap, and not made by Crapple.

Note, the cable is almost a foot shorter than the Saitek one, iirc. It *almost* wouldn't reach around my desk. But my computer is quite far from the middle of my desk, so you'll probably be fine. If not, you could always buy a USB extension cable.

1 out of 5 eggsuncomfortable keyboard

Pros: the keyboard is pretty slim.

Cons: the keys are flat, it is not comfortable to use.
because of the slim design, keys positions are changed and Enter key is reduced.
not very good for office use.

Overall Review: i do not recommend it
