Overall Review: you always take a chance on refurbished. if you are not good at fixing minor issues I would not. I am so it worked for me.

Pros: Beautiful display. Crisp, clear picture. Screen size is fantastic. Price is unbeatable! Screen can tilt backward or forward, can raise up or lower.

Cons: It is a refurbished product, so there is the possibility of receiving an imperfect product. We received one monitor with a scratch and Newegg gracefully accepted our exchange for a replacement and even covered the shipping cost.

Overall Review: We ordered several of these for our office and everybody is beyond satisfied. Very happy customers!

Pros: the $75.00 price tag cant be beat i was afraid when i opened the box and there wasnt any real packing material in it that it was probably dead but nope it is in almost perfect shape one somewhat large scratch on the stand isnt a problem for me im not going to use the stand its going on a wall mount other then that it looks new and is of good quality much more then i expected for 75 bucks after reading some of the reviews i put the 2 year extended on it just in case it might have issues a few months down the line but with that added this monitor with 2 year replacement shipped free for less the 100 bucks cant be beat

Cons: When I opened and set it up I went back to order a 2nd and they were all gone and selling another style HP. Then patience paid off when the same model came back.....bam ordered and the two together are awesome !

Cons: It work for one night, the next morning I turn on my computer and its darker for no reason. I've try tried adjust the brightness didnt help, tried adjust it from the Nvidia control panel and window 10 display setting not work. Overall Review: Also I bought it over month ago but didn't set it up until now because I was moving. Bought on 9/4/2015 and is now 11/10/2015

Pros: Sleek, and I enjoy the pedestal shelf for pens and what nots.
Large picture with adjustable stand.
It is in very good cosmetic condition and was packaged very well; completely double rapped in bubble rap as well as double boxed.

Cons: It seems to have a yellowish hue, but I expected this from other reviews.
Why package it with a VGA cable?

Overall Review: I like it so far, for some reason I expected it to be more of a 'wide' screen landscape picture, since my older on is. This is my fault for not reading product thoroughly, either way it is bigger than my old 19 inch.

Pros: Great monitor, size is nice, stand is good, bezel looks cool. Overall for the price, you are kind of taking a risk on a refurb model, but mine came out wonderful. Some wear on the bezel, but to be expected.

Cons: Very good, sometimes the monitor doesn't receive signal from my DP cables, and i have to mess with it a bit. I hope that does not become a bigger problem in the future.

Overall Review: Resolution is 1600x1050, which is advertised, so it's not a con, but if you're looking for a real 1080p monitor, you're going to have to spend quite a bit more

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Whomever is handling these refurbs are passing off complete junk. I accidentally received 2, and can't believe the poor packaging and condition of these monitors. They must have simply plugged them in and if they did anything, they were good enough to ship back out.

The first monitor has a sticking power button, though the feel of the button panel hints at a possibly damaged button, so I decided to take a look at the extra monitor. Wow, it had a giant dent in the button panel. When I powered it up the DVI input was heavily chopped and distorted. Doubt the people handling the refurbs even ran a signal through it.

Pros: It works fine no operational issues.

Cons: These monitors are off lease used items and the refurbishing I suspect amounts to them being tested to verify they work. The one I received showed obvious signs of wear and tear which is to be expected, however, I at least expected it to be CLEAN!

Overall Review: It does work and for my purposes it is fine but this is not a factory refurbished monitor.

Pros: I ordered two of these. One was an excellent value w/ slight cosmetic damage but a really bright and sharp display. See "cons" regarding the other one(s).

Cons: ..., and the other one had significant damage to the frame in the area of the power switch, rendering it almost inoperable. Once I got it to power on and stay on, the display was much dimmer than the other, w/ a yellowish hue. I returned this one and its replacement has just arrived. No cosmetic damage, power switch works fine, BUT, its display is at LEAST as bad as the one I returned, possibly worse.

As an aside, the packaging for these units was, at the same time, complicated and probably a bit expensive..., and yet..., totally inadequate. Really poorly thought out.

Overall Review: I bought these for $75 ea and got the 1 year replacement warranty. Unfortunately, I've only had a 33% success rate wrt satisfactory condition and performance of the unit. So..., as much as I hate to say it..., unless you like wasting time, these refurbs are probably not worth the trouble.

Cons: Like others have said the packaging is horrible, it's just tossed in a box that is too big with no packing material at all. Mine even still had the D-sub cable still attached. Speaking of the D-sub cable, the pictures clearly show a DVI cable which was not included in the box. The lower metal bezel is bent all to hell and the plastic covering the hinges on the stand is stressed out of place.

Overall Review: Don't bother with this monitor.

Cons: It is disturbing that NewEgg would send something like this. Others have posted negative reviews about the power button not working but this is ridiculous. The bezel is damaged on top and bottom and button completely does not work. I used to think that NewEgg was a place you can trust when buying products but I guess I was wrong. The site also said they had 5+ available and when I ordered and guess what? 1 came and they no longer had it in stock. Even if the monitor was not damaged I would have to find another to match. Lastly, it came in a box that was put in a larger box. The internal box was damaged from the side but not the outside. This seems to suggest it was shipped even though it was DAMAGED!! There is a reason I ordered them as a pair! Frustrating! I will take my business else where until problems like this are resolved.

Overall Review: Bought it as a backup as my original monitor was getting tired. Proved to be a good idea in only two weeks. Didn't expect such quality from a refurb. As an extra, can't beat the price!

Filthy! Like "used on an outdoor construction site" filthy! Had a layer of "mud" across the entire screen surface. Looks like someone made a very poor attempt to wipe it down and just smeared dirt across the screen in the process. The bezel, housing, & stand were just as bad too.
Packaging is unbelievably poor. It was actually packed in a proper shipping box - but - there was nothing protecting the screen from the shipping materials (which can create rub marks) and the power & video cables were thrown loose in the box and were banging on screen during handling. No damage to the screen in my case (maybe due to protective mud coating - hah!), but buyer beware!
This was obviously a heavily used item with many cosmetic blemishes. I expect a few minor cosmetic blemishes in a refurb - but not the substantial abuse this unit has seen. The frame around the screen has multiple broken retainer clips and thus doesn't mate properly with the main case. It is particularly heavily damaged in the area around the power button (which doesn't work). None of this damage was due to shipping either. The damaged portions were actually well-protected and it was obviously placed in the shipping container this way. There is no way these flaws could be missed when the unit was serviced and they definitely should have been remediated during any refurbishment process. It may have had some repair done on it, but it is definitely not "refurbished" by any stretch of the imagination. "Has a display" does not equal "refurbished"!

Overall Review: If you're using this as an occasional use, back-room monitor that no one will see it is probably suitable for that purpose. Otherwise the quality of the "refurbishment" is so poor that it is unsuitable for any situation where it will be visible. I have bought many refurbished products from Newegg (including several other monitors) and they are generally indistinguishable from new products. Newegg's customer support is also first-rate when you do have an issue. However, I'd recommend passing on this particular refurbished product to save yourself the headaches of dealing with a potentially disappointing product.
In the end, I can't use this for its intended purpose and will end up purchasing another monitor to fill that requirement, but I am going to keep this one as a back-room monitor since it does produce a display and I can make use of it that way.

Cons: After a few days it good dim, dim dim. It is about 1/2 as bright as my other monitors on the system. I even changed out video cards and it doesn't help. Also changed the video input type, still dim and on the GREEN color side.

Overall Review: Normally refrub stuff is good, still time I wasted $100.

Pros: I bought 2 of these monitors. Got one with some reservation but after using it I was surprised at how good it looked and how well it performed. Paid $75 and it was well worth that price. They come with a power cable and a VGA to VGA cable.

Cons: The first one had some lines running down the screen and it was very annoying and I almost sent it back. Then I tried a DVI to VGA cable I had lying around and it fixed the problem. I'm not sure if its the cable or my GPU but it was fixed by changing the cable. The second I used the same type of cable from the get go so not sure if it has the same problem.

Overall Review: For $75 shipped I have no complaints. Its only 1680x1050 but its a 22" wide screen monitor that displays great and all buttons work and no apparent damage to the bezel like some users have stated.

Pros: The second refurbished monitor I received has a functioning power button. The bezel was damaged around the buttons but all appeared to work properly.

This particular monitor has a base that clicks into place and no instructions on how to fold it again. This made sending the monitor back confusing and difficult with the original box.

Cons: Almost half of the screen is scratched pretty bad. I bought this monitor with the understanding that it is refurbished not totally damaged. My first bad experience with Newegg. Very disappointed.

Pros: Took a chance and bought two of these refurbs to have a matching pair for my home office. I use these for business, not gaming so I can't comment on their usefulness for that. One looks brand new but the other looks like it might have fallen off the back of the truck. Scarred bezel plus a severe dent in the control button area. Both work great and have beautiful video though, despite the cosmetic flaws one of them has. Each of mine came with a VGA cable but no DVI or HDMI cable. I used decided to use two DVI cables that I already had on hand instead. Both monitors do have HDMI ports but I have not tested those to see if they really work. The base is already attached to monitor and folds almost flat for shipping/storage. This base allows almost unlimited up/down tilt of the screen. Base does not swivel left/right but moving the whole unit shouldn't be a problem as the part that sits on your desk is not that large - 7"x10" rectangular.

Cons: Dents around the control button area of one monitor. All buttons work now but I have a feeling they might not if I were to use them a lot.

Overall Review: Probably should RMA the dented one but I'm not going to bother since I might get one just like it in return. A lot of people seem to be saying their power buttons are caved in and inoperable. Be aware that these buttons are soft touch. Don't push them hard because they may cave in easily.
