The Movement systerm is tricky to master at first but you can really bounce around the walls if you get the hang of it.
There are alot of guns and gun attachments in game, not as many as COD games but this game isnt trying to be COD.
The Character design is good and cartoonish enough to help with the visuall style alot.
The maps are all fairly large, usually with multiple stages and areas opened depending on objectives being met.
Characters level up via an experience point system and the only thing that doesnt give you experience points is running around. You gain XP for shooting opponents but you get more for team oriented actions like taking objectives or supporting team mates like giving them ammo, health, etc.. leveling up unlocks new abilities your character can perform in your prefered class.

Cons: AI is very VERY stupid

The AI in this game can be frustrating at times. Single player Team mates seam to choose which objective to go after on an equal chance basis. That would be fine if there were only 1 or 2 objectives, but as there are often 4 or more possible on the map the chances a team mate will go for the main game winning objective drops radically.
The Parkour element is fun but only one type of character in game can fully take advantage of it.
I own a quad core computer with a video card that i get great results graphically form almost any game out there today, and the textures in Brink take several seconds to load regardless of what settings I used.
Launch day and multiplayer had several bad bugs, most notably ones that COMPLETELY ELIMINATED SOUND AND MADE THE OPPOSING TEAM INVISIBLE. These have since been patched.

Overall Review: There only 8 maps total to play on and some are designed in such a way that that if the attacking team does not clear the first area quick enough it becomes impossible to leave the starting spawn area. One notable occasion I completely held an entire team inside their spawn thanks to a heavy weapon and the soldiers ability to resupply their own ammo. There are only too types of locations in the game, Shiny futureistic resort setting and rusting shanty town. again since there are only 8 maps this quickly gets repetitive.

I wanted to like this game. I really did. The game premis had alot of potential but the gameplay itself didnt really deliver. With the bugs, graphical problems and AI that has wild swings in intelligence/usefullness this game felt like it was shipped out 2/3s done. It feels like the creatores were trying to take the most popular elements from Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty and combine them, while adding Parkour as an attempt for originality. At best its a Rental.

Overall Review: I like this game, its different and tries to do something which is not bfbc2 or cod. With its difference people don't really like it. Most cod players do not like this game because they want to play Rambo, but this game makes you need to help your team to win. I like how you need to work together to get the win, and there is no K/D ratio, just get points to unlock percs/appearance. To unlock weapons you need to beat the challenges which are pretty simple. The story is just meh. Multiplayer has its lag, and sometimes gets really frustrating because people will headshot you far away from a pistol when you shot them a lot with a machine gun. Over all this game is average like people are saying but its different. It is a hit or miss. I enjoy it but they need to fix problems. Also they are going to release DLC which will be free. Its worth probably $30 to me. I give it 7/10.

Overall Review: My initial thoughts were, "fun dynamics", quite novel concept, unique game movement through SMART. But after playing it over the weekend, I realized just how frustrating the game was. The AI seemed to aggressive. At times, down right difficult to defeat, even on easy setting. The storyline took far to little time to go through, and maps are extremely small.

Overall, it is an average game, and I would like to see how it performs in a multiple player way, but I have not been able to figure out how I can find a game with other humans to play.

Overall Review: My largest gripe lies in the repetition associated with playing Brink. The fact that there are only 10 maps played via two perspectives, only serves to exacerbate that feeling of déjà vu. The game is in desperate need of more content for the player to become engrossed.

The support from the developer is my largest concern. This game has a malaise in my opinion. I struggle to imagine this becoming anymore than its current state, which I will say is open beta. Not to say they have not made progress with the issues that plagued the game. At launch there were major issues with lag, sound drop off, and garbled text. Last time I played none of those issues were present. Much to my dismay, disappearing bots is still an issue.

Would I recommend the game? No, I don't think I would. If it were a bargain then perhaps I might. But as it stands, at almost 50 USD, it's difficult to make an argument that you need this game.

Pros: There is an upgrade system... Let's see, here... That's it. I have nothing else to say for its pros.

Cons: A lot of people put SMART movement in the pros, but really, just don't put random terrain all over the freaking map (most of the time to where if you are a heavy you have to take an incredibly long way around) and there is no need for it. This game tried (TRIED! didn't accomplish, in any way) to be team fortress 2. It takes about 4 clips of ammo to kill someone. there is being too realistic, and then there is absolutely ridiculous. This game chose the latter. Throwing a grenade is like throwing a 50 pound sack of potatoes at the enemy, it doesn't do much and it soars through the air for all of 5 feet. When on single player, the AI makes killing the enemy their top priority not getting the mission done. Therefor, it is almost entirely on you to get the mission done. The missions are incredibly lengthy, so don't start playing unless you have up to a solid 30 minutes to do so.

Overall Review: The multiplayer (the whole selling point of this game. Oh, right, like TF2,) differs wildly. Sometimes you get the sensation that you are actually having fun, until you realize that this particular mission has 15 minutes left and there is an extension if the wrong team loses, giving them another 15 minutes to redeem themselves. Overall, this game is NOT Team Fortress 2. It isn't even a good game, in my opinion. I wish that I had never bought it.

Pros: The game is great via single player, like anything else Bethesda has every released.

Cons: I usually like online play with my shooters and brink does not deliver. Online play is horrible, with lag spikes, invisible teams and over all just down right busted.

Overall Review: I really feel like i paid 50 bucks for a beta pass. This review isn't to be reflected on new egg. I bought it on steam and its not even there fault that the game is horrible. BTW the promise of DLC won't fix a busted game.

Cons: I hate to rip on a game that was free, but after playing it for a few minutes, I realized why newegg was giving this game away. The graphics look like something from an N64 but in 1080p. The gameplay is annoying. It takes a full magazine from a full auto machine gun pointed at an enemy's chest just to knock him on the ground. It takes another magazine to kill him. And then all the enemy has to do is shoot you once and you are dead even though you have full health. I have only played it a few minutes. Who knows, it might get better, but I doubt the graphics will magically get better. Then there is steam. On the cover, it says it is a Games for Windows Live title. But it isn't, it is a Steam title. And everybody hates them some steam.

Overall Review: Just make sure you put the right bar code in when you are preparing the mail in rebate. There are two codes. The one I got is not the same as the one on the product page. Don't fill out the forms until you get the game.
