2 out of 5 eggsHalf-way Dissatisfied

Pros: Great sound for such a small form-factor.

Cons: Very difficult to work the controls/get to the song I want even after reading the manual and having a high-degree of skill working with electronics of all kinds. So this is not the best player for jogging unless you just turn it on and let it play on and on. Personally I like to change up what I'm hearing on the fly while I'm on long jogs. But don't expect to change songs too easily while you're in motion. The readouts on the screen are very tiny. It's hard enough to shuffle to the folder/song I want while standing still, let alone while on the go.

2 out of 5 eggsLow Quality

Pros: Inexpensive, It comes with a usb adapter for connection (not a cable).
FM quality is fair.

Cons: - Poor battery life.
- When the volume is low you can hear a pulsating buzz that happens when the screen scrolls the title. (note I use it often to listen to music and books on tape at low volumes for meditation and sleep. This noise is constant and annoying)
- Button action is poor, It take several times pressing it to get it to register that it was clicked even after the first click to wake unit up.

Overall Review: I personally prefer a MP3 player design that is like a USB Memory Stick. I was looking for something similar, THIS IS NOT IT.
I will personally never buy a COBY device again.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: It worked when I took it out of the box and tested it, but it was dead by the time I finally got around to trying it again monthes later. I tried several new and differant brands of batteries, but it was still dead as a doornail.

Overall Review: It's hard to find a good mp3 player that takes a regular battery nowadays. The only ones that seem to be left are cheap garbage.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: I got it on clearance for $20. Sound quality is fairly decent for such a cheap piece.

Cons: Aesthetically bad. The user interface is impossible to use without the user's guide.
