If you are reading these reviews because you just mistakenly ordered an item from this seller thinking you were placing an order directly with NewEgg, save yourself a lot of time, money, and frustration by calling them up to cancel immediately.

I ordered a brand-new Samsung Note 10.1, but I received a used device, without a stylus, that showed signs of wear.

When I called the seller to complain, I could only get a voice recording that they were "moving facilities," which I assume was a euphemism for running from the FBI or whoever investigates interstate mail fraud these days.

I gave up on communicating with them via email after they offered to give me an extended five year warranty if I kept the device, then refused to admit it wasn't new.

The device came in a box labeled "not for resale" and didn't even have a serial number that I could use to register with Samsung!

Some of the other reviews on here suggest this was not an isolated experience. Shameful!

Seller shipped my item the very next day and it arrived the following day. The tracking number was emailed to me so I made sure to be home to accept the delivery. I am very satisfied with the item and hope to do business with this seller again. Thank you!

Rating + 1 Ordered New was shipped used item

We ordered a specific version of the iPad as a speech device for my 6 year-old son. After two weeks they still had not shipped the item to us. Shortly after it did ship they called to let us know that it was an open box item and not new. We the package came we refused to accept it and had it sent directly back. A couple days later the tracking number shows that someone signed for the package at their location. However they will not refund the money because they are telling Newegg that they did not receive the package back.

We have tried contacting ElectroBrands again and again with no response. They are open during very limited hours each day, and even when they are open they don't answer the phone or let you leave a message. No response via email.

We are going to file a claim in small claims court and hope to get a response.

Rating + 1 Ordered New, Got Refurbished

I ordered a Samsung tablet, brand new. It took three weeks to arrive, even though it was only supposed to take a week. When I took the tablet out of the packaging it was already damaged in the corner, I immediately thought, "there is no way this tablet is brand new". I contacted Electrobrands and was told that the tablet was indeed brand new and it must have been damaged during shipping. I then contacted Samsung about an issue with the screen, and after registering the product I was told that it was refurbished. Electrobrands lied about the condition of the product, and now I am in contact with them to get a complete refund and to return the tablet, hopefully that goes well.

I would not suggest anyone get electronics from Electrobrands, they are liars and scammers and I am greatly disappointed with their service and I will never purchase anything through them again.

I ordered a new GARMIN nuvi 2597LMT GPS from ElectroBrands via the Newegg MarketPlace. The item I received was not new (according to Garmin) and appeared to be an OEM refurb (white-box). The GPS works well and is covered by the Garmin 12-month warranty. I give credit to ElectroBrands for responsive customer service (via e-mail). They immediately acknowledged an apparent issue with their Distributor, and offered me a full refund or an extended warranty. I elected to keep this item instead, and received a partial refund for this discrepancy. Satisfied customer overall! This would have been a 5-egg rating if the item I received was a new retail item. Lessons learned. Buyer: do your homework prior to purchase! I accepted some risk with this purchase since the ElectroBrands price was well below the prices of a dozen other Marketplace sellers. Seller: take swift action to preclude potential future order fulfillment issues with your Distributor, or to find another Distributor.

Item was USED, came in white box. Contacted Samsung and was told Warranty Expired NOVEMBER 2013!! Newegg WHY do you let this seller continue to make you look bad! Filing fraud with CC company if prepaid return label AND full refund is not received. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! (I was forced to give them ONE egg, I could not leave ZERO)

Rating + 2 At least it's a new unit ..i think

1st time using marketplace on newegg, not happy. Didn't know it was 3rd party sale til after placing order. Seller has lots of bad reviews so i called them the next morning and asked if it was gonna be a new retail in the box unit, they said "we only sell new units of that model" the tracking info went up by the end of the day but stayed in pre shipping. Worried i called wed, they said shipped day before would arrive by friday. Friday comes tracking still shows pre shipping.. More worried, sent a email. Recieve a response first thing Monday morning good response time i have to admit. Said it shipped Fri. Still showing pre-shipping, called in same day and the nice gentlemen said that usps didn't come out friday but they did send it out mon. and remebered it going out. This time the tracking did update. So all in all it took 7 days just to get it out the door. Recieved what looks like a OEM unit not a retail. Samsung said s/n was clean, but no guarantee not 3rd party refurb. Not Happy

Rating + 1 DO NOT BUY OR TRUST!!

I ordered an item from this seller and it came late and I had posted a couple comments. The company contacted me to have the posts removed and they said they would send me a 5 yr warranty. I did that and the warranty card came and is no good and the website doesn't exist. I feel they used me just to remove the negative posts and that is upsetting. Not happy with product because it gives a lot of errors even after resetting it. I love Newegg but will never buy from ElectroBrands again!

Rating + 1 NEVER AGAIN!!!

I ordered a NEW GARMIN GPS used my egg points with the purchase also. I received a refurbished GPS (FALSE ADVERTISING). Was told by Electro Brands this never happens and they were sorry. Read others comments this seems to be common practice for this company. The customer service was decent, I had minor issues with them. The time lost for this is unbelievable. I am still waiting for a refund. I think honestly I will never order from new egg again for this experience.

    GREAT NEWS! WE HAVE EXTENDED OUR RETURN POLICY FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON. PLEASE CONTACT US BY JANUARY 15,2014 IF YOU WISH TO RETURN AN ITEM ORDERED AFTER NOVEMBER 6,2013.
    All products returned to us must be accompanied by a RA # (Return Authorization) posted on the outside of the shipping box. All returns without a RA# will be refused by our warehouse.

    Any product which appears to have an initial defect within 14 days of delivery, may be exchanged for a replacement of the same model at no cost to you . We will pay for the shipping both ways. All defective products must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty repair after our 14 day return period.

    If you wish to return a non defective product for any reason, we accept returns on unopened factory sealed products WITHOUT ANY RESTOCKING FEES also within 14 days from the date of receipt. This is open to our discretion depending on the item and situation. Any item that has been opened may be returned but will be subject to a 15% restocking fee since we will no longer be able to resell the item as a new and unopened product.

RMA instructions
