Rating + 1 Terrible!!!!

Ordered a mulltimeter got a kitchen scale! called the company to get it straightened out and the timid kid that answered the phone had trouble explaining that they sold too many more then they had stock of and are out of the product.... i guess that means to some companies if you dont have one product ship them something diffrent that should be fine...
to get a replacement or refund you have to amial support cant do it on the phone and then once hey approve it you can ship them the product back first and then hey will process the refund. very annoying but understandable defiantly not the best for time sensitive orders esp since it seems they have a habit of sending ppl the wrong product!!!

I email customer service but never answred I gave it 2 star because the ship me the correct product after lots of emails and chating to newegg support but etekcity never answered they only contacted me for me to ship them back the wrong product I have received.

Rating + 1 Poor customer service

I contacted new egg only minutes after I placed the order. I realized that I used the wrong shipping address. New egg was not able to change the shipping address for me. I did not receive the order. The acted like I was asking them to do something out of the ordinary. I only asked for a simple address change, or to cancel the order so that I could re order the item with the correct address . Poor customer service.

Item arrived DOA with LED reading "333" regardless of range or voltage function. Ohmmeter would not register at all with leads touching. Tried to contact Newegg and Etekcity with no progress toward an RMA refund. Newegg says "contact seller," and seller says "send an email outside of Newegg Marketplace ID." Somehow Etekcity got my phone number and called, but kept asking me to send them an email without providing an email address themselves.

Not worth the $8 refund hassle at this point.

Rating + 5 Ordering experience

I received 3 x Etekcity Digital Multimeter (DMM) Multi Testers sooner than estimated and in mint condition.
Inside the main cardboard package each meter was OEM boxed and sealed in plastic, all the DMMs work fine. I won't hesitate purchasing from Etekcity again.

    RMA Policy

    We are sorry if you have to file an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request. In order to help you to get your replacement/exchange/refund as smoothly as possible, please read the policies below carefully in advance. Thank You.

    RMA’s must be approved by Etekcity Corporation in order to be valid and honored. Please note that our RMA department will not process your return without the RMA number. Customer must carefully pack items being returned as if they were new and working. Failure to do so may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty.

    For a replacement or exchange:
    o After receiving the returned package, our RMA department will process the RMA as well as inspect the returned items. You will receive the new item within 3-7 business after we have received and inspected your return.

    For a refund:
    o After receiving the returned package, our RMA department will process the RMA as well as inspect the returned items. If the return passes inspection we will issue the refund within 3 business days. Please note that if the returned item is working properly, the original shipping cost we paid may be deducted from the refund. Also, a 15% restocking fee may be accessed in certain situations.

    Warranty Information:
    o Please refer to the specific warranty information in the listing for each product.For those products supported by Etekcity Corporation, each party will be responsible for one way shipping during the warranty period. Etekcity Corporation is not responsible for applicable international tariffs such as broker fees and customs duties.

    o An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be issued in order to process a replacement or to authorize a return for warranty repair. Please contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.

    o Etekcity Corporation will, at its sole option, replace or repair the defective unit with a replacement after the defective unit is received. Once the product is received, Etekcity Corporation will send out a replacement unit to the customer by ground service (subject to inventory availability). Please do not return any unauthorized items to Etekcity Corporation, as they will be refused. The RMA number must be included on the outside label of your shipping box. Our warehouse is not authorized to accept returns without an RMA number on the shipping label.

    o If there is a Manufacturer Direct Warranty, please return the unit directly to Manufacturer.
RMA instructions
    1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 ¨C 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
