The product was junk. Defective out of the box and now I'm having a hassle about returning for credit. Newegg is indirectly responsiblr and I'm getting very poor service in help with this headache that I only have because I trusted Newegg to insulate this transaction in the same professional manner as A-z. Don't take a chance on this outfit.

Rating + 1 Failed to deliver, no response.

I ordered a mouse and it was never delivered. When Newegg and I emailed this seller, they never responded. If you get your product from them, I'm sure it's great. Rating will stay until I get a response or the product I've already paid for.

They shipped the wrong item and when I contacted New Egg, they said I needed to contact the seller and they did help by sending out an email. The seller then asked questions like what was the sku of the item I received after I clearly put the description in the email saying the manufacturer needed this information. I am not sure why they are not able to look up their own item or why it matters in any case. What would be the case if I did not receive the item at all which does not seem far fetched? Would they send out a new item or ask me to somehow contact the shipping company and make me jump through hoops without providing any real steps towards solving the problem. Each response from the seller would take a day or 2 after my immediate response. Everybody keeps passing the buck and I still do not have my item and it is over 2 weeks from my initial order. I have order from other sites and they immediately own their mistake and send an item to make the situation right, not here.

Rating + 1 Misleading price

I purchased several of these remote outlets with the web page stated price $5.11 each cheaper than what I was invoiced. I brought it to Newegg's attention and they sent an inquiry to Etecity along with a pdf of the web page showing the advertised price. I've heard absolutely nothing back, so apparently stonewalling is the answer I'm getting.

    RMA Policy

    We are sorry if you have to file an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request. In order to help you to get your replacement/exchange/refund as smoothly as possible, please read the policies below carefully in advance. Thank You.

    RMA’s must be approved by Etekcity Corporation in order to be valid and honored. Please note that our RMA department will not process your return without the RMA number. Customer must carefully pack items being returned as if they were new and working. Failure to do so may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty.

    For a replacement or exchange:
    o After receiving the returned package, our RMA department will process the RMA as well as inspect the returned items. You will receive the new item within 3-7 business after we have received and inspected your return.

    For a refund:
    o After receiving the returned package, our RMA department will process the RMA as well as inspect the returned items. If the return passes inspection we will issue the refund within 3 business days. Please note that if the returned item is working properly, the original shipping cost we paid may be deducted from the refund. Also, a 15% restocking fee may be accessed in certain situations.

    Warranty Information:
    o Please refer to the specific warranty information in the listing for each product.For those products supported by Etekcity Corporation, each party will be responsible for one way shipping during the warranty period. Etekcity Corporation is not responsible for applicable international tariffs such as broker fees and customs duties.

    o An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be issued in order to process a replacement or to authorize a return for warranty repair. Please contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.

    o Etekcity Corporation will, at its sole option, replace or repair the defective unit with a replacement after the defective unit is received. Once the product is received, Etekcity Corporation will send out a replacement unit to the customer by ground service (subject to inventory availability). Please do not return any unauthorized items to Etekcity Corporation, as they will be refused. The RMA number must be included on the outside label of your shipping box. Our warehouse is not authorized to accept returns without an RMA number on the shipping label.

    o If there is a Manufacturer Direct Warranty, please return the unit directly to Manufacturer.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
