Good for Price
- Pros: Cheap and good looking.
- Cons: Pretty flimsy metal.
One page manual with no descriptions (not a con for some, but still).
Might arrive with dents?
- Other Thoughts: Arrived today, and like many other users have noted, it had a dent on each side of the case. The place with the dents were surrounded fully by Styrofoam, so I don't see how it could have happened. Either way, it's not enough to make me return it... just a heads up.

Awesome protection for not a lot of money
- Pros: It is safe and it is a great alternative for Offsite Backup. There is no excuse for not using one of these to protect your family pictures, work or any other important documentation.
- Cons: USB and not ESATA

Windows 7 is light and breezy.
- Pros: Windows 7 does like Microsoft says it will, and that is 'makes your frequent tasks more easily, and performs quickly.' Windows 7 releaves you of the cumbersome burdon of Vista, and I really did love Vista.
- Cons: There are no cons against the good Windows 7 operating system by our friend Microsoft.
- Other Thoughts: Windows 7 is a great operating system, and is definitely recommended. Also, the upgrade version I got, installs and records ALL your data on your PC, and then return you to right where you were when install started, but you are then in Windows 7. It's cool. Recommended. It's more with the times than Vista, and features wireless and networking options, that are advanced over Vista.

Best 500GB hard drive out now
- Pros: Very fast. Very quiet. Totally reliable. Great price.
- Cons: The 1TB version is just as good and is still pretty cheap.
- Other Thoughts: If you don't need 1TB+ of storage this is a perfect all-purpose hard drive.

- Pros: Excellent enclosure, keeps drives cool... Allows for hot swap of drive and cold swap without opening case.. Have owned about 20 over the years and never been disappointed. If you want trays to bind less add some Teflon dry lube to rails, and they will glide in and out...
- Cons: Tray locks are a bit flimsy. Users must be careful when locking drive tray into place... Don't man handle them and they will work fine.

Worked first time
- Pros: Westen Digital drives for me work fine and have not gimped at all. This drive was to replace an 8 (yes an EIGHT) gb HDD that was in an older machine that had 1.6gb left.
- Cons: Only problem was that when I went to install WinXP Pro, the drive became "F:" instead of "C:". I have no clue why.
- Other Thoughts: Reformated and reinstalled and then the drive became "C:"

Windows 7 Ultimate Rocks
- Pros: I did a full complete reinstall and let Win7 Ultimate do its job. Full install in 20 minutes, and that included hooking up to the internet and installing all drivers I needed.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: It's too bad about other that have problems but I would bet that 100% of them never even used the Windows 7 advisor to findout if their hardware and software was compatable.

Excellent CPU
- Pros: Great performance. Runs cool at stock speeds. Low power consumption at stock speeds.
- Cons: Stock cooler is loud under load and is unlikely to handle overclocking AT ALL. But stock coolers are always like that; it's not a unique problem with this model.
- Other Thoughts: The 860 is probably overkill for most people, the i5-750 offers most of the performance for less money. But sometimes overkill is good. :)

Great memory from Corsair, as always.
- Pros: Runs at advertised specs; stable; high-quality RAM.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I've got 8 GB of this RAM now; I'm very satisfied with it. These days, I only buy Corsair RAM. In my opinion, they make the best. I've been using their products since 1998. Previous reviewer, please note: you need a 64-bit OS to make use of more than 3 GB.
