Pros: Works great. Installed with Intel DH87MC motherboard to provide front panel USB 3.0 ports. USB Cables long enough to attach to USB 3.0 ports on motherboard. Installed in full tower case and uses 3.5" front panel slot (floppy drive size).
Cons: No downsides so far.

Pros: 5 Control Sliders Lengthy 3-pin connectors Attractive Design Price
Cons: LED flood light on the front
Other Thoughts: I bought this controller along with three Noctua NF-P12-1300 120mm case fans to replace my dying intake fans on my Antec 1200 case that have been running dutifully 24/7 for the past 5 years. I wanted high quality fans while still retaining the ability to adjust them on the fly. I didn't experience any of the buzzing that so many other reviewers here mentioned. My only gripe is the obnoxiously bright white LED on the front. It probably won't bother people who keep their PC on the floor, but mine sits on my desk and that LED is mighty bright at eye level. If you keep your PC in a room where you sleep, this might present a problem. The light does bleed into the space occupied by the right-most fan control slider, but that's not a big deal. An on/off switch for that LED would be nice, but I'll probably end up covering it with something. Overall, I really like this controller so far.

Pros: I have been running water coolers on all my resent builds and if you do, you know that they all should come bundled with a fan controller. they just work better if they are run at a constant speed both the pump and the fan. there is lag from the motherboard's controlled fan and that lag is not present at a constant rate. most of the fan controllers have way too many cables and make for quite the mess. i have a NZXT touch control and I hate it. never changes between fans and way too many temp probes and wires
Cons: Molex power plug. Not minus egg worthy but these things are rediculous getting them to connect would actually like a more solid 3.5" drive plug. they reside on the same cable on my modular power supply but after it finally gets plugged it is stable as hell.
Other Thoughts: fit the case really well my cpu with just a cheap Corsair water cooler idols at (get this) 9C and during gaming it got all the way up to 20C I mean i am happy with an idol of 25C. Now it is winter and the room is pretty cold but running at 20C is stupid good.

Pros: Does everything that it says it does. The aluminum "frame" is very sturdy and the black coating matches my case (even though it doesn't really matter.) The audio ports are great and haven't failed on me like my case's ports (which was the reason I bought this product.)
Other Thoughts: Have not tested the USB 3.0 ports yet due to a lack of a motherboard that can support them.
It isn't flush with the facade of my case. It protrudes a bit but it's not a huge deal. Might be my cases fault.

This reviewer reports that his/her technical understanding of this type of product is average and has owned this product 1 month to 1 year.
Pros: -It looks cool. -Automatic mode. -Displays temperature. -Keeps fan speed from previous session.
Cons: -The beeping sound is annoying (can be disabled). -You can't go below 40% speed. -Touch screen died after 2 weeks. -Display looks weird from a lot of angles, only a few angles are clear.
Other Thoughts: -Highly disappointed with this product. -It served me well for the time that it worked. -Manual doesn't provide that much information about operating the product. -There are a lot of wires. Good cable management would be a great thing to include with this product.

It doesn't have ridiculous LEDS like EVERY other Fan controller on the market!
This thing has sliders.. 6 of them.. Which you slide up and down.. Obviously down all the way is off (or 10%).. and all the way up is 100% speed.
I prefer mechanical tactile rheostats/fan controllers vs. that touch screen junk -- When you want to adjust fans, you don't want to work with some VERY cheap touch screen that just doesn't work well.
I literally spent 10 hours one day reviewing/researching every fan controller on the "online" market (about 100).. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a Fan controller that does NOT have blinding , ugly, LED's that will keep you up at night (if you sleep in the room with the computer on).. And are annoying even sitting beside the computer.
Then once you do find one.. it will inevitably have a 75% negative review rate.. for failure, being a piece of junk .. etc.
The problems you run into are fan controllers that are under powered per fan header.. and cause buzzing noises on the fans due to power/voltage issues. You will find a "pretty" touchscreen fan controller but in reality it is a pain to operate and you will end up not using it.
If you are anything like me.. you are tired of the LED's on everything,.. you want something that is RELIABLE.. simple.. but WORKS.
This is your product.
It will take 2, 3, or 4 pin sockets -- and it operates on two Molex connectors powering it.. which gives it something like 30 watts per channel (6x30 = 180 watts) -- That is a TON of power. You will NOT have fans that will be too powerful for the headers. At 30 watts you can put , technically,.. 6 fans on each header (though I wouldn't advise more than 2-3 a header).
It's easy to install.. pop it in a 5.25 bay like you would a CD/DVD drive.. plug in the power.. and plug the fans into the back. That's it.. no need to read manuals.
I did the research for you -- If you aren't after some LCD touchscreen Fan controller -- THIS is the one you need to buy.
About 50-60%+ of fan controllers on the market are absolute trash..
This has the Numbers (1 2 3 4 5 6) lit up , but in a slightly blue/white tint that is NOT too bright. It looks classy.
Perfect to adjust those chassis fans that you want to keep in check for noise levels.. and even push/pull fans on radiators if you wish. I run 5 fans off mine,.. and it can handle so much more than that with 180watt capacity.
Cons: Cons? At $34.. not a one. I'd pay $50-60 for this now that I know it works and is not a piece of junk.
Other Thoughts: I said it all in the "pros" -- But it bears repeating .. if you are after "flashy".. this isn't what you want.
If you are after something that is classy looking, doesn't have blinding LED's.. has tactile sliders.. and will handle as many fans as you can fit in a case -- This is your product.

Pros: When i read the other reviews i didn't think that the dial LED's would be that bright, but they are. I recently took all my blue fans out and replaced them with newer fans. Even when the dials are turned at 50% they are super bright. A look at the dials shows that there are 2 blue LED's angled into the dial assembly. I am not sure if i want to paint the dials or cut the LED's. I want the dials to light up but the light goes through them and is almost amplified outwards which is why they are annoying. No problems, i didn't use and of the adapters, ahead of time i bought 10 extenders so i didn't need the extenders and all the fans were 3 pin that i bought. This fan controller can go from 0%-100%. I wanted a fan controller that can turn the fans off so that's why i bought this one.
Cons: LED's too bright and refract the light weird.
Other Thoughts: This fan controller can turn the fans off, goes from 0%-100%. That was the seller for me.
