Pros: The best part about it is the lighted power switches for each outlet on the power strip. The switches glows a red light.
Cons: 1. The only thing I did not like about it was that on the back of the strip, it has two screws holds that is for holding the strip on the wall. Well the screw holds are to small to hold any normal size screws. You'll need to get two #4 screws, which is very small. also it comes with no screws in the package. 2. The power cord is 6' long, not good for kitchen uses.

Pros: If you 'must' have an outlet extender, rather than a power strip, (I'm old and do not like getting on the floor anymore - it's the getting back up I hate) - there's no reason not to go with a brand name we all know and trust. As an old retired moldmaker, I appreciate the styling. No sharp edges, just smoothness.
Cons: 1 egg off, though may be so minor, because a couple of connections were just so hard to plug into. Maybe just too new- or 'as we call it in the trade - 'flash' from the mold interferes.

Pros: Lots of outlets. Long cord. Protected Switch cover, Reset switch. Does what it is supposed to do. Own about 25 of these and not one of them has failed!
Cons: None that I can think of. Contrary to original comments made to this product this is a great product with a very solid base to be attached to a rackmount chassis. True the metal maybe soft enough that shipping or packaging negligence may cause the pins to bend. I would not put this blame on Tripp Lite. Blame UPS or Newegg or the Handler....
Other Thoughts: I build electronic racks on a daily basis. We use to use a cheap brand
