Pros: It includes power for the hard drives (both SATA and IDE), uses USB 3, and doesn't give me false "bad block errors" on my 3TB hdd's like my old USB 2 Startech adapter did.
Cons: USB 3 is still slower on a 7500 rpm hdd than SATA is for doing a full disk scan. Considering that the theoretical throughput on usb 3 is several times faster than the sustainable throughput of a traditional hdd, I was hoping for better performance, but it's still pretty good.
Other Thoughts: The best external HDD adapter that I have at the moment. Every IT tech should have something like this.

Pros: Nicely built, all connectors on the box, no loose wires.
Cons: No problems the first 8 or 9 times using it. On about the 10th time using it After having everything connected I inadvertently pressed the big red button on the top of the connector box and it shorted out the motherboard of the computer and the connected HDD.
Other Thoughts: You live and learn. Spend more money next time.

Pros: A good price ... that's all I can say about it.
Cons: I purchased the USB conversion sockets to replace a keyboard, with a more functional keyboard that was not equipped with a USB plug, etc. Unfortunately, none of the 5 conversion sockets which I had received have worked for me.

This reviewer reports that his/her technical understanding of this type of product is average and has owned this product 1 day to 1 week.
Pros: Good Resolution: tested it all the way to 1600x900, no issues.
No power cable, which is convenient.
Cons: Monitor connected via adapter has major issues when displaying Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox windows (any internet browser window really). Window would freeze up and not display properly, even with reinstalling the drivers and adapter.
Other Thoughts: Overall, it works fine. I was able to run videos on it with no lag or other issues (videos saved to hard drive, not streamed).
However, the issues with the internet browsers was the deal-breaker for me, hence the loss of two eggs.

Pros: Works just like I thought it might. I was worried because an IT friend said it wouldn't work. However, it works great.
Cons: The cursor on the second monitor is slightly slower than on the primary monitor and "hangs up" a little bit. But, I'm on an old computer, so this may be expected. Overall, it's a small problem in comparison to the benefit.
