Pros: I'm partial to Polk products - and have several of their speakers already. I wanted to get this isonic to plug my laptop into at my home. It's fairly small and so I wasn't expecting too large of a sound. But surprisingly, it's got a big, full sound. There's a lot of bass, and just sounds great. It really can fill a medium to large home bedroom with the sound. Also it has options to increase bass and treble. At louder volumes, there is no distortion - probably because of sufficient power from the internal preamp.
The fm and am radio work very well. The included antennae work well. I'm surprised that it picks up an fm station that's around 50 miles away - and does so really well.
The iPhone jack is for the older 30 pin iPhone - prior to iPhone 5. You can buy an adapter for maybe $10 to make it compatible with the newer iPhones. I don't really use it for that purpose.
The remote control is more useful and with more features than the buttons on the control panel. So don't lose the remote. I could use this as an alarm clock because it's built for that too.
I don't really know the difference between this model and the second generation version on sale for over $600. But at $100, this first generation is an awesome deal.
Cons: Only few cons discussed above.

Pros: plastic snap backplate locks the Touch in place. magnet clasp glossy leather (looks reptilian) case pockets for 2 credit cards/id and one for like folded cash or paper protects the Touch on the sides really well and the top/bottom reasonably, but they can take a direct hit, however I don't think damage could occur.
Cons: not convinced it's really leather, but it's $10 the pop up for the strap is pretty useless could use a tad bit more leather on the top and bottom.. just a few mm.
Other Thoughts: The cutout for the WIFI is not necessary, since the case only has cardboard around that area with only a small piece of metal down by the clasp for the magnet to grab on.
