can't handle heavy recoil
- Pros: I'm sure it would have been fine on one of my AR15s.
- Cons: Heavy recoil of my MKA 1919 beat it to death. It came apart after about 300 rounds of heavy high brass ammo. low rating for lack of toughness not function.

They work pretty well
- Pros: I use them for driving to work and back, and in the daytime the quality is surprisingly good.
Also, it is recognized as a camera in windows 7 so it shows up as a file in windows explorer. You can simply drag and drop like any other file folder.
There is a small text file that you load into the unit root directory to set the date and time stamp imposed on the video. It seems to stay accurate for a while, but at some point the date gets off. Maybe if you drain the battery. To correct, you simply update the text file on the unit. - Cons: It records for only one hour. I tried to swap the 4G card for a 16G card, but the battery doesn't last much longer than 1 hour anyway.
When the card fills, the unit will turn on for a few seconds and then turn off. No indication the card is full. You have to plug it into a computer to know for sure. I've gotten to where I simply save the files and then clear the card daily. It's awkward, but it works.
Oh, and the only way to clear the card is while plugged into a computer.
The glasses sit a little crooked on my face and I don't think it's my face. Since I only wear them in the car, no biggie.

Great Scope
- Pros: High quality, light-weight, cheap, comes with hard-case, soft-case, and tripod, clear optics, large zoom range
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: This is a great scope. When I bought it, I thought that it would be bigger, so I was a little disappointed when it arrived smaller than expected. This disappointment ended as soon as I looked through it. It is such a high quality scope that it doesn't need to be large. I would highly recommend it.

Works Well update
- Pros: Software works better than I thought in my earlier review. First install was on Windows 8 64 bit and did not work but later installs on Windows 7 64bit and 32bit and Windows XP all worked fine. Install the driver first. For the price this is a nice tool. Not nearly as nice as the Dinolite 5MP but it is $930 less.

Works Well
- Pros: Good image at 20X or 200X, focus works well, 2 light levels. A useful fun tool/toy. To get to 200X run the focus all the way down.
- Cons: Software is very poor. The files on the CD did not show up for about 15 minutes (?) and then the driver crashed the computer. I used Debut Video capture which is free for home use and works very well, the APGtek driver is not needed.

Barely OK
- Pros: Compact design
- Cons: Hard to focus, cannot be focused without at least 2 hands.
- Other Thoughts: I would return this item if my 30 days wasn't up and RMA so difficult to get.

- Pros: none
- Cons: junk ..dose not zoom in when taking a pic and the thing is every hard to set up..do not wast your money this is junk..i wish i had my money back..or vivitar would send me some thing that work like they said it would ..junk junk junk .
- Other Thoughts: if you think of getting this dont wast your money or time this is junk ..

- Cons: what a joke ..you would think the camera would take a pic of what you zoom in on with the binoculars ..but no it is a joke i will never buy a thing from them again and hope people do the same ..it is hard to get the camera to set up and not worth the money so save your money and do not but this it is junk vivitar i would like my money back ..or some thing to prove that you are sorry that you put this out for sale

- Pros: Great ideal. My thinking was wrong.
- Cons: I thought picture would be of the amplified picture through the binoculars but the picture is what you see with bare eye. So I was very disappointed. I guess if you just wanted to locate a target than move to it for the photo this is a good deal. But I was hoping to take a picture of what I see in the binoculars. Still like the binoculars.
