silent and stable
- Pros: Dead silent - no fan yet never runs hot.
Good power, even surge at startup. Was easily able to power a 19" tv in our RV daily for two months with no problem. - Cons: Wish I could find something twice this capacity that still had no fan. Obviously this is not a con of this inverter, more like a suggestion to Rosewill.
- Other Thoughts: Have always had good luck with all sorts of Rosewill products from mice to hard drive enclosures.

Awesome Product
- Pros: I have had this inverter for over a year and it has fulfilled its purpose in every way. I recently took it car camping so that I could use the fast, electric air pump for my mattress. We use it to power laptops on long trips and pretty much anything else we want to plug in. It is quiet, durable, and easily worth the price especially if you're able to land the occasional <$20 sale.
- Cons: None: This product successfully fulfills all the purposes of its design. I love it.

- Pros: Great price, great wire, not a single fire yet!!
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Good quality speaker cable just remember that this is a 12 gauge wire so it may not fit well into a cheaper spring loaded input clip. Although chances are if your looking to use such a beefy cable your not planning on hooking up to a inexpensive set of speakers anyway.

Doesn't provide the current
- Pros: Works
- Cons: Barely works. Does not provide even close to 1 amp of current on either port, even with only one device plugged in. I bought two of these and they both have the same provlem. The provided current does vary a bit, I can only guess it's based on the heat of the electronics in the charger, sometimes it's so low that my phone doesn't even register that it's charging. I've tried both chargers in two cars with three different cables, and tried different chargers on my phone. The problem is DEFINITELY these chargers.
They advertise 2.1 and 1.0 amps of current per port but can't even provide 800ma on either. I haven't tested these with my multimeter yet, so I can't tell you how much current they output, but it's not much.

It Works
- Pros: Worked; 2.5A port for IPad
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: I wanted a dual port charger for my car and an extra for my travel electronics kit, so I bought 2 and they both worked. They light up when plugged into the 12VDC outlet in the car. I also like that it doesn't protrude so far from the outlet as some do, but does stick out enough to make it easy to grab and remove, unlike another manufacturer's model of this gadget. I'm pleased.

Must be a dud
- Pros: Size
- Cons: Never worked. Nothing, no indicator light no charging. Used 2 vehicles. Other car plugs worked, pretty sure. Most are happy with this based upon review on newegg. Mine must just be a bad one.
- Other Thoughts: Sent email to Rosewell tech support. Waiting for response.

REALLY 3.1A ???
- Pros: Pretty blue light that says 2.1 & 1 AMP -- but it is just pretty
- Cons: NO better than a .5 AMP USB port on a 4 plug 1 USB port splitter that I purchased for $7.95 shipped. As far as in it's own plug in -- in my truck, in NO WAY faster charging my Samsung Note than the .5 AMP charger that also offers 4 other plug in outlets :-) --
- Other Thoughts: It could be my note, BUT it does charge faster on a wall outlet than off of my laptop or hooked into an office 4 port USB splitter -- just not faster than .5 AMP charger in my truck -- that circuit has a 30 AMP plug inline. I could be wrong & it does look real neat -- just does not seem to work worth a hoot.

best dc-ac adapter
- Pros: Quiet. USB is on always. Does not get hot (aka it is efficient). Actually is 2 amps, unlike many others. Fits well in a cup holder if needed.
- Cons: Light is very bright. Kind of large.
- Other Thoughts: The size isn't much of an issue for me. I keep it in my center console between my seats, which has a 12V dc outlet in it. It provides enough power to charge my tablet or phone as well as the 2 amp wall charger. I've also used it to run laptops during road trips and it works very well. The light comes on only when you turn it on. It's bright and you can't cover it (the light is inside the unit and the cap is plastic and is made to diffuse the light). Not an issue if you hid it in a console or under a seat.
