Pros: I'm very happy with this cable. A similar one his one is being used on my wireless USB adapter that I ruined the cord up. Works great, and is longer than the old one. Newegg hasn't let me down, yet.

Categories > Camera Cables & Remotes > DBPOWER > PT-16 4 Channels Wireless Flash Trigger with 2 Receivers for Canon Nikon Olympus Camera

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 simple,..inexpensive...a good buy!
Pros: First, I have used another major brand Radio Slave for years. These are by no means the build quality or range of that system, but they are nearly one tenth the price. They are very small and their durability remains to be seen, but after running them through a few tests, they seem like they will get the job done - as long as they are not abused. If your flashes have a standby power setting, these units will wake them by pressing the fire button on the sending unit-but pressing the shutter halfway will not wake them.
Cons: There is no auto shut off for the receiver units which will no doubt be left on at some point and kill the batteries--but that is the same for my $300 radio slave unit as well. Also, the exposed setting switches may lead to some accidental changes, but since they are easy to see and to check, maybe not.
Other Thoughts: THESE are NOT for iTTL use! I knew that, but it may not be totally clear to everyone since they are listed for use with cameras and flashes that do link for iTTL use...just wanted everyone to know. you will have to use either manual settings (the best method) or use the "Aperture" setting on your flash unit.
All in all, I expect these to be very handy and work well in most situations. I also will be ordering another set as a "back-up"
I give them 4 Eggs--I reserve my 5Egg award for products that exceed my expectation, which these just might!

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Good shutter release
Pros: Allows me to take cleaner shots of a single point in the distance without giving a blurring effect.
Cons: na
Other Thoughts: Very good to use a shutter release when taking images of objects in the sky (stars, Moon, sun etc.)

Categories > Camera Cables & Remotes > CE Compass > CB-USB5 USB6 USB Cable Cord For Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 6000 1050 8010 6020 3000 Camera

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Great Cable!
Pros: Easy to use, Great for recharging your batteries too!
Cons: None so far!
Other Thoughts: I got one of these after quite some time trying to figure out what cable it was. My camera's leads that read the SD cards are broken off inside so I cant use the SD cards anymore which is why I needed this cable to still get use of the camera. I bought the battery charger 3 times now because the footer for holding the batteries in place broke off on every one of them. This cable does a much better job charging your batteries & it doesn't over charge them like the charger seams to do.

Categories > Camera Cables & Remotes > Opteka > Opteka RC-4 IR Remote Control for Canon EOS T3i 600D

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 Works...kinda
Pros: Looks nice. Works as described.....I think..
Cons: After much trial and error.I still can not get a shot unless I aim the remote right at the cameras remote sensor and within a couple of feet. I am not sure if its the cameras sensor location or the remote, but you have to really to work at it to get a shot with the remote.

Categories > Camera Cables & Remotes > CE Compass > MC-36R/C1 Wireless Timer Remote For Canon 60D 1100D 600D 550D 500D 450D Camera

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 I like it
Pros: 2.4 GHz! You can hold it behind your back and still click off shots.
Cons: The remote unit has no OFF switch. It just stays on all the time unless you remove the batteries. And the items picture is a little misleading. It does not come with several connectors, only the 2.5 mm jack marked C1 in the picture. They even show that on the box for some reason. I guess to save money on packaging. But its not worth subtracting any eggs.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for my Canon 60D mainly for Astrophotography use. So far I'm impressed with this little gadget. What they don't tell you in the item description is that the receiver unit doubles as a wired shutter release that even works without a battery. The hotshoe is actually nothing but a mounting point but it also has a standard camera screw mount.

Categories > Camera Cables & Remotes > DBPOWER > Yongnuo RF-603 C3 Wireless Flash Trigger Transceiver with 16 Channel Up to 100m Transmitter Distance 2.5mm Socket for Canon 1Ds Series 5DII 5D 7D 50D 40D 30D 20D 10D

Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3 Good idea, not sure how good the application
Pros: shutter and flash trigger, inexpensive, fast service
Cons: Instructions must be translated as they don't always make sense. Seems to transmit somewhat sporadically, not sure how reliable it will be.
Other Thoughts: Need to really set it through it's paces but it wasn't triggering every shot with the Canon shutter release nor triggering my Metz flash every time. Since it's new, it could be user error but the instructions are hard to follow as they are not grammatically correct (the English version).
