- Pros: This is the Nintendo Wii version RVL101 and is capable of playing Nintendo Wii games.
- Cons: Unlike the Wii version RVL001, the RVL101 does not feature Gamecube support of any kind. Your Gamecube games will not work with this machine like previous versions of the Nintendo Wii.
Nowhere in the technical specifications on Newegg is this lack of support mentioned. When the box comes, you have to look at the fine print on the side of the box to find this out. Chances are you have already opened the box and found out the hard way by the time this happens.
- Other Thoughts: I am completely disgusted with Nintendo over this change in design, and I would have never bought a new Nintendo Wii if I had known the backwards compatibility was removed. It was the entire reason I bought a Wii in the first place.

Great for the family
- Pros: Great gaming system for kids..it's cheap and has many fun games. That said, it's not top-of-the-line, but we all know that going in. For those who gave poor reviews because you're obsessed with GameCube, that's just not fair. This IS NOT GAMECUBE, and you know better. This review is to help balance those poor reviews, which are nonsense.
- Cons: Doesn't migrate as well to PC game play as XBox and PS3 (even with adapter)
- Other Thoughts: Great price ($69 with promo code thru 4/20/13), but sold out..

Not bad and in good price
- Pros: 139.99 can get the console and two games is a good deal
- Cons: Only one remote controller
- Other Thoughts: If this bundle will have two controller will be better

Disapointed - just wait for the wii-u
- Pros: I really like the Wii because it helps get the kids active on days the weather isn't as nice as we would like. Example:Rain This is the second wii we have owned. The first one lasted a long time and it was dropped when we moved, so I do not blame Nintendo at all. It even allowed you to play game cube games.
- Cons: This model does not have the ability to use game cube games.
Having problems as on 1/10 A replacement wii we got our son for the major Christmas gift and it is already having problems.
- Other Thoughts: I love Nintendo and have always been a fan since I was a kid with the NES and now my son who is 5 play games from NES-Wii (his fave is SNES and Wii) and soon the wii-u I really hope that I just happen to have received a bad system and that this is not going to speak for the future of Nintendo.

Nothing to dislike really
- Pros: More than what I expected; I always wait for things to dial down before investing into gaming gear.
The family enjoys this bundle!!!! - Cons: I wish it was able to use the internet to check your personal emails and do more things other than the marketing things that are available like Netflix. I would be happy with just internet surfing on the Wii, but still this is an amazing game system!

Fun, as advertised
- Pros: * Sleek, black design.
* Wii Motion Plus built in to controller.
* Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort conveniently on the same disc - Cons: * Not backwards-compatible to GameCube (Do a little research before you buy!)
* Can't produce image output any better than 480p.
- Other Thoughts: I finally caved and bought the Wii because this is a good deal, and there were plenty of games I wanted to purchase. In my opinion, the black console is much more attractive than the white. The controller comes with Wii Motion Plus built-in, so no ugly nubs at the end of your controller. Nintendo removed backwards-compatibility to GameCube games and controllers. It's no surprise to me, and makes good business sense, since it will cost less to produce the systems. If you don't like it, find another model, and make sure you research before you buy.

Does not have Gamecube controller ports
- Pros: clean because its new
- Cons: These do not have Gamecube controller ports... I bought this specifically to play Smash brawl online with gamecube controllers. If you're planning on using any gamecube controllers, do NOT get this. This isn't Neweggs fault so I'm going to be contacting nintendo for a replacement.

Great Service, Great Product
- Pros: Fast, reliable service. I couldn't find this bundle at the local stores near me, so I got it at Newegg and I don't regret it. The product works great and of course the advantage the Wii has over other systems is the ability to play classic Nintendo games. I think Nintendo is overall more family friendly. I'd purchase this product here again.
- Cons: It's more inconvenient to return to online stores.

- Pros: I'm happy own my Wii Bundle Black, also support gamecube games are great. It's working fine to play all my GameCube and Wii games. I'm very happy with it.
