Kensington 39352 Protective Back iPad Case
Perfect Balance
- Pros: The case is an open design that grabs the iPad but doesn't enfold it.
It is easy to pop the iPad out of the lower grips when you want to use the stand feature of the case, but not so easy that it pops out when you don't want.
The soft lining keeps the surfaces of the iPad safe.
It is lightweight yet sturdy - it saved my iPad during a fall that almost assuredly would have cost me a new screen and digitizer.
There are no imprints or designs or logos on the leather, just a nice, clean, smooth black finish, which I find appealing.
The magnets in the flap work beautifully with the iPad sensors. This thing was clearly designed to work flawlessly with the iPad.
Subtle yet highly effective openings allow access to all ports on the iPad (dock, headphone jack, power, volume, speaker).
Two angles for landscape mode viewing, and the iPad does not come out without you wanting it to. - Cons: Might be nice to have added a third extremely low angle for nearly top-down viewing, but this is me stretching, since I just hate seeing the con box left empty.
- Other Thoughts: The fact that this case saved me the cost of replacing or repairing my iPad in a fall where it landed on a corner on a hardwood floor, makes me a lifelong fan. The grip at that corner was sliced open (yet still works 100%) and I was certain it would rip off like a torn toenail, yet the SINGLE stitch it's being held on by has refused to give up even after three months of me messing with it.
Excellent design, great price.
As long as you aren't one of those people who literally should be banned from owning an electronic device without it being in an Otterbox, this is the ideal iPad case.
(I even bought their version of this for my Galaxy Tab 2)

- Cons: The product come with heavily used. It is very dirty and scratchy. DO NOT BUY the refurbish product from here.
