1/4-Inch Drive 20-200 Inch-lb Automatic Torque Wrench

Very well made / excellent price
- Pros: For the price, this is an excellent torque wrench. The workmanship is sufficient. I have a friend who is an airline mechanic, and he certainly uses higher quality tools. But for my less "professional" application, this is more than sufficient. The case is good, and I found no issues with the fit and finish of the tool. My drivers mount just fine, and there is very little slop in the feel of the wrench (double checking torques don't move at all).
- Cons: The instructions that came bundled with the torque wrench are for a ft-lbs wrench. I was trying to make sense of the numbers when I noticed this -- since I got the inch-lbs model, I just chose to disregard the numeric table in the instructions.

Good, but...
- Pros: Works great on metric fasteners
- Cons: Can't get it to hold on SAE fasteners.
- Other Thoughts: I guess if the US would just outlaw SAE fasteners, this kind of problem would go away.

Good for frequent use
- Pros: Good quality. Convenient if you frequently work w/ metric sized fasteners to use by itself or to size the nut or bolt and then use a socket.
- Cons: none

Irwin 2078611 12-inch Metric Quick-Adjusting Wrench

Beware, Genius's at Large ...
- Pros: It's a wrench that is easy to adjust. It's an ADJUSTABLE crescent wrench. It only needs one hand to adjust. It's the "better mousetrap" version of adjustable crescent wrenches. It comes with either SAE or Metric markings scaled on the side of the wrench so you can tell what size fastener you're trying to use this on.
- Cons: It's still an adjustable crescent wrench and it still has the same failings of any other adjustable wrench as far as turning nuts and bolts goes. My Dad used to call adjustable wrenches "Polish socket sets" (as in Poland, not as in buffing material). There's a reason he said that- Adjustable wrenches are prone to rounding off nuts and bolt heads making them useless to real crescent wrenches and necessitating the use of a vise-grip. Especially those that are difficult to turn in the first place. This one is no different, it's just more bulky than a real, fixed crescent wrench- but easier to adjust with one hand than the standard type of adjustable wrench
It would have been just as easy for this company to put Metric scale markings on one side of the jaws and SAE on the other side and call it "universal". I guess they're no smarter than some of the people making a big deal about this being a "Metric" wrench.
- Other Thoughts: The only thing that makes this a "metric" wrench as opposed to an SAE wrench is the marking on the side of the fixed jaw that tells you what size it's set at. That's all. It will fit anything you can get it around and tighten it up on. However, if you fit it on an SAE nut or bolt and look at the scale engraved on the side of the wrench it will not tell you which REAL SAE crescent wrench or socket you need because it's graduated in metric units not SAE. That is the only REAL advantage of having those graduations engraved on the wrench, so you don't try 3 or 4 crescent wrenches or sockets before you find the one that fits.
That's what makes this wrench METRIC and not SAE.
Otherwise, it's an adjustable crescent wrench and I'm sure all the genius mechanics commenting on Metric vs. SAE are smart enough to already know that. Or not, you pick.

yes it is a metric wrench
- Pros: Good quality tool, it is metric because of the adjusting mechanism, not because it is adjustable. It adjusts in metric increments not w/ a screw mechanism.
- Cons: no cons
- Other Thoughts: Has a metric mm scale on the side for reference. The SAE wrench adjusts in inch increments, the metric adjusts in mm increments.

Not a True Metric Wrench
- Pros: It's adjustable, so I can use it on SOME bolts.
- Cons: It doesn't work on Metric Allen and Torx bolts.
- Other Thoughts: I'm originally from Canada, and I've seen fake Metric wrenches, and this is just a fake. If this was a TRUE Metric wrench, wouldn't be a "100mm Adjustable Wrench"?

Neiko 3/8-Inch Drive Extendable Ratcheting Breaker Bar with Soft Handle Grip

Great tool box breaker bar
- Pros: The main reason I bought this breaker bar is to put in my tool box that I carry in the truck which is not big enough to hold a regular size breaker bar. It appears to be well made for the money and everything (ratchet & extension) has functioned without problem. The extension has an easy to use ring and ball lock that can be locked in four lengths. The head can be angled at a few different angles, including parallel with the handle and perpendicular to the handle, i.e. 0 and 90 degrees and in between.
- Cons: The finish on the ratchet head is only black oxide and likely subject to rust, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5. I'm not sure why they would chrome plate everything except the head. In a tool box that isn't used regularly moisture sometimes builds up and I don't like to have my tools rusting. The angle adjustment on the ratchet head is a spring ball and detent mechanism that can't be locked. You are limited to a few angles and they can't be locked so care must be taken when pulling on the handle not to let it slip to another angle. I suspect the handle extension is subject to excessive wear if not used carefully, that is if you don't pull straight in line with the head, the handle will tend to twist on the shaft which likely causes a small indentation in the detent in the groove that keeps the handle from rotating and sliding. If this is done repeatedly it will likely cause the lock to eventually jam. Also the shaft is a little small for my preference and not as strong as a regular bar. Still, a little care will prevent problems.
- Other Thoughts: The main reason I bought this is that it will fit in my tool box. Those are emergency tools and don't get a lot of use so I'm not overly worried about wear and tear. It is well made for the money, good quality steel and a strong ratchet. I'm not sure how it would hold up to daily use but I would think it would at least be worth the money in this application. I would recommend this tool to a friend but would let him use mine first to become familiar with its operation.

#00 x 60mm GearWrench Phillips Mini Screwdriver

what a screwdriver
- Pros: Wow!! This tool can remove a screw from metal! Thats like magic. I had a screw that needed unscrewing and my big ol' stanley screwdriver just wouldnt cut 'cause it is huge. But this one was just the ticket. It screws and unscrews. Amazing!! I am simply blown away by how this thing multi-tasks!!
- Cons: The only problem I had was it wouldnt run out and get me a cup of coffee. I asked it nicely but it just sat there like a..well..like a screwdiriver. Oh well.
- Other Thoughts: Imagine what cavemen could have done with this. The industrial revolution could have started 10,000 years ago and by now we could all have the flying cars we were promised.
