Pros: loud voice alarms, combo smoke and co2 monitor
Cons: automatically tests itself -- almost randomly which is quite annoying and impractical...

Other Thoughts: I almost fell for this "bargain," but noticed only one review, and it wasn't high. So, I checked Amazn, and this unit has 19 reviews of "1" out of a total 27 reviews. Do us a favor, Newegg: Quit trying to unload "bargain" junk on your site. You will lose credibility (not to mention, business) even with your most loyal customers!

Cons: first unit was DOA and the replacement chirped constantly after 2 days. Would not waste my time or money

Cons: It has a battery backup but you need 110 VAC. Since the transformer is built in (and removable if you want) I put an outlet on the wall by the ceiling where I wanted this and mounted it this way.
Other Thoughts: Like all current CO alarms, these need to be replaced every 7 years or so. Read manufacturers doco.
