Pretty nice alternative to factory spoiler
- Pros: Factory paint matches my 2009 xB 9.5/10.
Only 2 holes to drill.
I've never installed a spoiler and this was 5/10 difficulty for me (hardest part was holding drill steady and not having it kick out when drilling!) - Cons: Could have used an additional coat, some areas (Outer sides mostly) have black flecks that could have been covered. Will use a touch up pen for those...
Could have used a better template, took some thinking to get it lined up.
- Other Thoughts: Not a bad choice versus 400+ for a factory one (plus paint & labor)
(Hint, put the guide strips on the spoiler with the bolts in to line it up straight on the car.
Once straight, tape one piece of tape above and below the bolts to hold the strips on the spoiler, remove bolts, place and line up on car, once placed, tape the strips to car, again, above and below the holes to drill.
Now that they've been lined up and taped, hold the strips to the car and slowly lift the spoiler off.
You now have your holes to mark and drill. you will need different bits then the instructions state. i used i believe a 7/32'' bit to start and a 13/64''. You dont want a big hole, just size up the bolts with the bits you have and go just a hair larger. you just want the bolts to go through the metal, they tighten directly into the spoiler.
After mounting, check bolts after a day or two to retighten as they may shift some before settling. You could use loctite and silicone for the best seal and tightening of the bolts.)

Hyundai Genesis 4 dr Lip Spoiler (Factory) AT White Satin Pearl
2012 Genesis White Pearl Spoiler
- Pros: Bought this for my 2012 Pearl White Mobis emblemed Genesis 3.8L w/Tech Package. Fits perfectly with body contours. Installed without supplied screws with the preapplied (3M?) adhesive tape. Just measure to center spoiler on trunk lid and apply. Lightweight, and near perfect color match. My Pear White has more pearl to it than the spoiler has, but is hardly noticeable unless you are up close and the sun is shinning. This spoiler is not too pretentious and looks like it belongs on the car.
- Cons: Not a perfect color match for the White Pearl (AT) paint. Spolier has less pearl than the car.
