Good Piece Of Mind
- Pros: Prompt delivery; easy to follow instructions. Installation on a '01 Toyota Tacoma was a snap. Wide mirror improves rear viewing. Picture quality is pretty good though hard to read a license plate unless vehicle is directly in front, probably because of wide angle lens. Need to speak loudly for audio to be picked up which is probably a good thing to avoid normal chatter being audible on the video. Haven't tried it at night so can't comment there.
- Cons: Wide mirror (12.5 inches) inhibits use of sun visors on my Tacoma, especially passenger side. With map lights above mirror only way of removing SD card is by tilting mirror down. Doing that too many times may loosen the mirror. What I did to get around this problem is to connect a mini right angle USB cable to the mirror and just stick the other end and cable behind the passenger side sun visor which really can't be used anymore and then connect the USB cable to a laptop if/when there is a need to download video; works great.

Works great
- Pros: Easy to install and operate
- Cons: None!
- Other Thoughts: Didn't think the video would be too stable because my mirror had some shaking. The video is perfect and easy to save to a computer.

Terrific form factor
- Pros: Finally, a logical design for a dashcam! Blends in very well with any car interior, and the power cable is long enough to route any way you can think of. The built-in display works perfectly, can be turned off at any time, and the somewhat smoky mirror works well both day and night. The display blends with and doesn't interfere with the mirror function, and the status lights are dim enough for night driving. Keeps recording for a few seconds after power is lost. Pause, stealth, and switching video modes are done with one button. Recording quality is quite good with few artifacts compared to web cams. Mine came with a 4GB memory card, allowing for about 15 minutes of footage with medium quality. No USB connection or software required -- just plug the card into a card reader. Standard SD card makes upgrading the storage a snap. Subtle enough to leave in place without thieves noticing it.
- Cons: It takes a little time to get used to the 3-button menus. Thankfully, they are only needed when setting the date or quality settings. The camera lens is a tad stiff, and just a bit more range of motion would be nice, though I have no issues with getting a full frame. Audio volume is good, but the sound is a bit muffled.
- Other Thoughts: Very happy with mine. It's pretty well constructed and not as large as you might think, so you'll get used to it quickly.

Silly little toy
- Pros: cool little gaget
- Cons: ok... here is my main point. Why would you need an accident cam that points forward?! You don't need a video of yourself rear ending another car... you know it's your fault...
Whats the point of having to push a button to start recording? Accidents happen in the blink of an eye, you think you're gonna hit that tiny button on your mirror..?
- Other Thoughts: Yes... its a cool gadget but that's it. doesn't have much functionability...

- Pros: Installation and setup were very easy. High quality video playback even at 640*480. I turned the audio off so I can't judge on the sound quality.
Fast delivery. Arrived 3 days after ordering. - Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: If you accidentally press "reset", be sure to read the section "To set language to English & to set up date" to get back to English.
I would buy another one in the future.

Wonderful product and so worth it!
- Pros: This dash cam is wonderful! It has a sleek and subtle design that belies the powerful technology inside. The HD video quality is impressive and seamless in replay, connoting a high record/transfer ability.
This is worth every penny you pay. I pay about $100/mth in car insurance and for the same price as a month or two of coverage I can help protect myself against lawsuits, scams, and even shady cops (just pivot the camera if pulled over where legal). I feel so much safer driving now, knowing should something bad go down I have more than just my word against somebody else's- I have video evidence! - Cons: Although I would love if it were cheaper, the price is understandable for how well-built this product is. The only other thing I would mention is that it's a tiny bit bigger than my rearview mirror which took a little while to get comfortable with.
- Other Thoughts: Worth it! Take the time to understand the tech and it lives up to everything promised. I'm a very satisfied customer.

I like it
- Pros: Must say i was pleasantly surprised with shipping speed.
It is really stealthy which is main reason i got it vs others. If the wire is neatly tucked behind sun visor and A pillar you wouldn't even know its there.
Quality is good and i like how the lcd is built in to the mirror.
True HD, not interpolation like the junk on eg@y. - Cons: Maybe it was just me but i couldn't figure out how to automatically have it cut off when car is shut off. It keept recording when i went to the store...
- Other Thoughts: Bit pricey. If it was 120$ or so i'd pick another one up.
