Cons: Extremely slow. Pumping up 4 low car tires is about a 20 minute ordeal. Can't pump up my bike tires with it. My bike tires go to 60psi, this pump starts dancing around the floor at 35, and refuses to pump past 45. Got in the habit of turning on pump and going and doing something else for 5-10 minutes, safe in the knowledge that this thing will never overinflate my tires. Came back yesterday and it had died. Figured it blew the fuse, so unscrewed the cap on the plug to replace it. Found out there *isn't* a fuse. Unsure if it got so hot it desoldered the wire (burnt my fingers on the plug, so maybe) or if it is just the complete lack of strain relief on the plug. The cord goes straight through the plug and is soldered directly to the metal piece that makes contact with your 12v plug. There is absolutely no strain relief. In fact, you can freely rotate the cord in the plug, the plastic doesn't even pinch the cord. The cord is literally directly soldered to the contact point and is in no way physically secured to the plastic plug case.
Other Thoughts: It's a bit of a coincidence that another person just reviewed this a couple days ago, as I haven't visited this page since writing my last review, and I'm back at approximately the same time as another reviewer :) I'm back to write another review though because I just threw this thing away yesterday. It's been nothing but a pain for the past 6 months, but I had trouble admitting to myself that I wasted $35 on this.
They said they aren't having trouble with it, so maybe I have a defective unit. However, this is the worst pump I have ever bought. Hopefully for other people I just had a defective unit.

Pros: Excellent compressor for under $300. I have an older Makair twin tank that I;ve had for years and it's really deafening when it runs. You really need to keep it outside if possible.......... not this one. While not silent, it's a great improvement. Being oil less there's no problems using it in the colder months either. The two piece design offers excellent versatility which includes leaving the compressor half outside and connecting the tanks with a long hose and operating a device from the tanks. In addition, the compressor section has it's own small tank so you can operate directly from that section if you have a small job to do. Liquid filled gauges, dual regulators, one hand connect/disconnect, and easy quarter turn separation of the two pieces make this a worthwhile experience in ownership.
Cons: None so far

Pros: It's nice and compact, feels pretty solid, and comes with a nice carrying case.
Cons: It is painfully slow to pump up car tires. In hindsight, with its size it shouldn't be a surprise, but with its price it was. It probably works great for bike tires, but expect to wait about 30-45 seconds/psi to pump up car tires.
Other Thoughts: Shipping was nice and quick. The pump works fine, I just expected more for its cost.

Pros: Compact. Will take an AC or DC charge. Can be utilized to charge other 12 volt items (no car batteries).
Cons: The extra nozzles provided are useless. Cannot be used to blow dust out of a computer case (not enough pressure generated), which is precisely why I bought it!
Other Thoughts: This would be a good item to carry in your car while traveling to air up low, slow leaking, or repaired flat tires. Maybe air up that inter tube your going to lounge in at the lake, river, or surf. Need to charge up you cell phone? This will do that as well. Need to blow the dust out of your computer case? Forget it!

Pros: I have owned this exact model compressor for more than 10 years and it is a winner. This is a tough durable reliable compressor that has worked without fail. I like the cigarette lighter socket too. I would buy this again and highly recommend it.
Other Thoughts: I bought this at WalMart 10+ years ago for 50 bucks and am surprised that it is still available for the same price. Buy it and you will be glad you did.
