- Pros: Simple, elegant & functional design. The weighted base with convenient USB charging port. The multiple settings for light output provide a natural lighting for all times of day. Have received numerous compliments on this lamp since I purchased it - something I never ever had with any desk lamp I ever purchased for home or office!

A quality lamp
- Pros: Great build quality
Different light levels, each with individual levels themselves
Sensitive and quality touch controls - Cons: Gloss finish is dust magnet
- Other Thoughts: I had been looking for LED lamps for our bedside tables for a while. We both read before bed and like different light levels depending on whether we are reading or just watching TV before going to sleep. We had tried another lamp brand that had come out with a modern looking LED lamp with touch controls. However, the touch controls failed within a few months. The touch controls on this lamp function differently and have not wavered from being 100% responsive. Being able to choose different light settings at one touch and having it remember the last setting is amazing and it is astounding that no other manufacturer had figured out. We each have customized how we want our lamp to function and we both are in love with our lamps. Our search has ended and I am confident that i wont be looking for a replacement for at least a decade.

Think before you buy.
- Pros: Zero!!
- Cons: Lamp arrived broken...Newegg should rethink how they pack and send items. Lamp appeared to be a previous return and shade was broken in 4 pieces. Would have to pay half the price of lamp to return. Shipped in original manufacturers box with no packing peanuts or bubble wrap. I will rethink purchasing from Newegg ever again!

Swing Arm Lamp in Black by Studio Designs
Good lamp but...
- Pros: Looks great, adds functionality to my workbench. Clamp has a wide range of customization and the "swing" functionality is simple and fluid. Otherwise, it's a lamp.
- Cons: The springs at the upper end of the arm are too weak to hold it at a perpendicular level. The lamp will slowly sag and bottom out at nearly 45 degrees if you don't have it at well above a 90 degree angle. It is not too hard to work with but would have preferred the full range of the arm to be functional without having to implement a work around.
- Other Thoughts: For the price, I can't complain. It isn't too hard to use a little creativity to get around the weak mid-range angles for the arm, however it's also not difficult for the manufacturers to use stronger springs.

- Pros: Cheap and does give off some light
- Cons: Cheap plastic. gives off very little light, enough to light a keyboard. Can't do any work under it since it will not light up most of the desk. Also has problem where the cord plugs into the light, have to jiggle it at times to get it to work.
- Other Thoughts: I would not purchase this item again.

On Light WK5 LED Computer Desk Lamp with Magnet Base
update to my previous review
- Pros: Handy, versatile light. I feel I somehow gave the light a "bad rap" during my previous review, complaining about the lumen rating.
I have no logical explanation, but after several dozen hours of use the light has gotten a lot brighter than it was when I first tried it out.
Perhaps it "burned in" or something? A few nights ago, I brought it over to my wife as a "reading light" when I noticed that she was sitting at a weird angle in her chair trying to get enough light to read her book without straining to see the pages. (I was watching television in the same room.) The darn light was so bright that it was irritating the heck out of me! I tried the same test/comparisons that I had when I first received it and it is somehow now much brighter than it was originally. I guess this explains other reviews where some rave about it's brightness while others complain about the lack of light. - Cons: Contrary to my earlier review, I really like this light now. Especially considering the price, I can't find any cons.
