Pros: Seems to be well built, works fine and the price was right.
Other Thoughts: If you really need an 80 cm USB 3.0 cable length you will find the cable to be closer to 60 cm. I have a full tower case and both cables were long enough when I mounted the device at mid height. The audio cable was a little too short for the device to be mounted higher because the connection to the MB is at the furthest possible point.
An extension cable for the audio is fairly cheap but I'm happy the way it is.

Pros: Works with PATA, SATA hard drives and floppy drives. Great for testing bare hard drives on almost any computer. Eliminates the need to either open up the computer to install the drive internally or install the drive into an enclosure.
Cons: Poor quality power cable [cable from wall outlet to the power supply]
Other Thoughts: When I first purchased this, I thought that the contacts in the "inline" power switch were flaky. Two years down the road, the unit would not power up at all. Turns out the issue was a poor quality power cable. Replaced the cable with a known good unit. The adapter is now stone cold reliable. So if you have one of these and the green LED lamp on the power switch flickers or acts weird, try replacing the power cable. Over all, I'm very happy with this unit. Well worth the money [$12 on sale] I spent on it. I deducted 1 star because of the bad power cable.

Cons: Low bit-rate support (up-to 16 bit, 48KHz) Unable to adequately pick-up mic
Other Thoughts: The reason I picked this up was for a laptop that had no dedicated microphone jack, unfortunately it simply does not cut it. There is no gain boost for the microphone and even after turning up outbound on Ventrilo it is still near impossible to hear me. This product simply does not work for what is needed of it. I will continue to use my old Logitech USB Audio Card from H555 headset (a decade old adapter).

Cons: This is being nit-picky: It sticks out of the laptop too far.
Other Thoughts: Purpose was to give older laptop Bluetooth capability for Bluetooth-capable hearing aids. Come to find out that the hearing aids were designed to work with Apple devices according to the hearing aid vendor's tech. I find that hard to believe. I was able to get my Jabra Classic v0.5.0 headset to connect and was able to hear what the laptop audio was saying. I suspect when I try hearing aids again ("Greater Northern something or other") the hearing aids may work.
