LG 27EA33V Black 27" 5ms HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor, IPS-Panel 200 cd/m2

Looking good
- Pros: Looks great, had no dead pixels, and bought on sale at a good price. Also one thing that is not mentioned in the product details on newegg is there is an audio out jack on the back to plug in headphones or speakers into (Only works when using an HDMI cable).
- Cons: Only cons i can think of is the drivers that come with the monitor are not signed by Microsoft so you will get a warning screen when/if you install them. Also, even though there is an option to turn off the power light (which i love by the way), the power light will still blink when you turn your computer off (I don't like this). Neither of these things are a big issue for me so i'm not taking off any eggs for them.
- Other Thoughts: To the reviewer who is complaining about having a distorted picture when using a lower resolution. I'm pretty sure the reason being is 1920X1080 is the native resolution of the monitor. So if you want things larger on your screen just make the icons larger and for web pages hold SIFT and press + or -.

Acer G276HLDbd Black 27" 6ms (GTG) Widescreen LED Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 100,000,000:1 (3000:1)

Fantastic so far!
- Pros: Clear, nice color, DVI port, external AC/DC adapter, allowing thinner design. Also very light.
- Cons: Pixel density a bit low for its size.
- Other Thoughts: This monitor is exceptional, in my opinion. I wish the resolution were higher, considering the size of the screen. The standard 1920x1080 resolution of this monitor stretched over 27" makes for a relatively low pixel density. However, that considered, the sharpness of the monitor is still great. Unless you are sitting a foot away from it, it shouldn't bother you.

LG E2411PB-BN Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor pivot&height adjustable 250 cd/m2 1000:1, 5M:1(DFC) Built-in Speakers

Great Monitors
- Pros: - Great color quality
- Nice adjustment options - 5ms = nice responsive display - Nice BRIGHT image - Built in speakers - Cons: Although I put the speakers down as a pro, the sound quality out of them is pretty low. But then again... What do you expect for built in speakers?
- Other Thoughts: We purchased 24 of these monitors for our graphic design department (2 per workstation). They replaced some very ancient CRT monitors and our designers could not be happier with these monitors. These are being used to design ads and do layout for a newspaper, so color reproduction is a very big deal and these monitors are about as close as we can get to what is coming off of our printing press, without spending 10x more per screen.
Been considering stealing a couple of these off of the designers desks for my desk!

ViewSonic VA2451M-LED Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LED Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 10,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers

Excellent choice for multi-monitor setup
- Pros: Has all the great benefits of it's cousin, VX2450wm, but the bezel is better for multiple monitor setups. The bezel is also matte instead of gloss, which makes another big difference.
We have twelve VX2450wm monitors in the office and have had great success over the last 2 years. Out of the box the VA2451M is very similar and i expect the same experience. We purchased 5 this year. - Cons: The only thing I was surprised to see is it came with a VGA cable instead of a DVI cable like the VX2450.

Nice Monitor
- Pros: Beautiful Bright Screen, Good Price
- Cons: Slow to turn on, Speakers (but can be ameliorated with equalizer)
- Other Thoughts: The screen is big very bright and sharp.
The 1080p video recorded on my Galaxy S3 looks fantastic on this (like a window) The speakers are like tin cans unless you adjust your equalizer settings in your video card settings. Just adjust the left (bass) and right(treble) all the way up and push the middle down almost to the bottom (should end up looking like a "V". Adjusted like this it sounds just fine...not like a Bose...but not bad)

ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD 3D Monitor Height&pivot adjustable 350 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers

Best 120/144hz Monitor Out There!
- Pros: Super fluid motion when gaming, great price, excellent response time, easily adjustable, great OSD, and colors look good for a TN panel once you do some tweaking.
- Cons: 1.The biggest con for me is that after a little more than a week I have a stuck pixel. I have tried fixing it, but had no luck. Hopefully, it will fix itself over time since nothing that I have tried has worked. While gaming it's hard to notice it, but it is very noticeable during general use. I have had ASUS monitors before (and so have some of my friends) and none of us have had this problem before. I really wouldn't worry about this if you are a new buyer.
2. The colors on this monitor are really bad out of the box, but if you do some research on google/youtube you can easily find good ICC profiles along with proper settings for RGB, Brightness, Contrast, etc.
- Other Thoughts: All in all it is a fantastic monitor. I would have easily given this monitor 5 eggs if it weren't for the stuck pixel. As a competitive gamer I can definitely tell you that if you can get enough fps to benefit from a 120/144hz monitor YOU WILL WANT THIS MONITOR.

LG IPS234V-PN Black 23" 14ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS 250 cd/m2 5,000,000:1

Should have DVI cable standard
- Pros: Price point was excellent. I ordered 3 (139.99 ea with the $20.00 Promo) of them and have them mounted using the VESA mounting plate on the back which eliminates the biggest CON.
- Cons: HDMI or DVI cables should be standard on all monitors now. . .
The stand that is provided is really an inferior product. which has been repeatedly noted in other reviews, if you don't want to knock this thing over by accident make sure you get an after market VESA mount and you will have no worries.
Power plug. AC to DC converter is a bit bulky and, but nothing as bad as some other reviews seem to imply .
- Other Thoughts: Was only looking for two monitors, but since the price was so good I ended up getting three. All look excellent straight out of the box. I have them mounted above the hutch portion of a desk, and there is no issues with viewing angle looking slightly up at them. Overall very satisfied.

LG IPS234V-PN Black 23" 14ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor IPS 250 cd/m2 5,000,000:1

Remarkable from the waste up
- Pros: Stunning display. Absolutely gorgeous. Picks up the freckles on the actors faces with streaming video. No shuddering or any visual input lag. No weird colors (some of the built in choices are terrible, but the default custom looks beautiful).
- Cons: The power cable and brick is something I would expect to see on a router, not a monitor. My DELL TN LCD monitor uses the same cable as a standard desktop (three prong female), but this monitor uses a round DC cord (like you see on laptops). The brick for it gets ridiculously hot almost instantly. If this thing catches fire I will be back here to knock off all those stars.
- Other Thoughts: This is the first IPS display I have ever used, so maybe I am just blown away by IPS and not necessarily this monitor. I got it pretty cheap though (newegg discounts ftw).
A few reviews here mention that it has terrible colors or input lag. So far I have only watched streaming video on it, but it performs as expected. You can do a google search and look at video reviews of it. There's one that shows Far Cry fire and it looks fine (so its not just me).
Another thing to note is that the monitor has a built in volume control (for passing audio through the HDMI channel). It defaults to pretty low and took a little while digging through the menu to find the control.
