Pros: I will update once I test it for a few days. Well packaged and good value. Got it for $13.5 shipped.
Cons: The top of the usb hub where it says "HooToo" is all scratched up. The top of the hub didn't come with a plastic wrap on it like the bottom of the hub. This makes me very skeptical that it was a brand new product; possibly used.
Other Thoughts: I will have to have second thoughts when I buy "new" HooToo products again next time.

Pros: Perfect for new mobo in old case: 2xUSB2.0, 2xUSB3.0, fat plugs (top-to-bottom) OK, molex power connector, fits in floppy bay [but observe VERY carefully because there are small mounting lugs which require inserting the whole unit from the FRONT!!]
Cons: The jacks have the bar on the bottom; it should be on the top: a flash drive will be upside down. Wide plugs on many flash memory drives will overlap adjacent jack(s), which is a shame because there is 10mm unused margin on left+right which could increase the three gaps by 6.5mm, making enough clearance for almost all wide flash drives. USB3.0 cable is very stiff.

Pros: Cool blue glowing LED's, great price, good quality build, plenty of USB ports including easy access. The A/C Power adapter ensures you won't have to worry about drawing too much power. I use this for my living room PC entertainment system. It acts not only as a hub but also an extension cord. I connected mouse, keyboard, and 3 gaming controllers to it as well as use it for charging phones.
Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: Somewhat inexpensive, might work on USB devices that don't require a consistent connection.
Cons: Horrible Lag Time.
I have a Logitech wireless K750 keyboard and an Anywhere MX mouse. Both work great when the wireless receiver is plugged directly into the computer, or any other hub. But when it's plugged into the Orico USB Hub, they're both unusable. The mouse freezes for a second and then moves, then freezes, etc.
Honestly, I don't what it would be good for with this issue. This one is going back.

Good USB 3.0 to SATA/IDE adapter with its own power supply
Pros: Save me a lot of time. Get your old spare external IDE 2.5" & 3.5" and SATA I/II/III hard drives to connect at USB 3.0 speed to your computer. It has its own power supply so you don't put any power load on your PC. I was able to get consistent data transfer of 180 MB/s peak and 120 MB/s average on large files into my SATA II only computer. On USB 2.0 of the same computer, I got only 25 MB/s peak and +23 MB/s average on large file transfer. So this save me a lot of time when working with old drives, either transfer, full format, chkdsk, etc.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I write this review because I am happy that this Unitek adapter works really well for me compared to my old USB 2.0 to IDE/SATA adapter with power supply, thus an appreciation yell to Unitek. Another note, it takes 20 hours to transfer 2TB of data from USB 2.0 external drive to another USB 2.0 external drive. Similarly, 15 hours, for full formatting an 2 year old 1.5 TB drive with some corrupted data. I was expecting this Unitek USB 3.0 to SATA adapter to give me about max 100 MB/s but it actually capable of doing 180 MB/s. Most of my old drives are capable of about max 100 MB/s sustain transfer rate. I got the 180 MB/s speed from transferring data from a Seagate SSHD to another internal Seagate SSHD as data backup. I bought another one so that I can USB 3.0 two external hard drives and transfer data back and forth between them.
