Be careful
- Pros: Free shipping on this item is pretty amazing considering it shipped from Shenzhen, China. I received the charger 4 days after order. That's good. Plugged the charger in, charged my Macbook. So far so good.
- Cons: This charger was shipped from Shenzhen, China. I received the charger yesterday afternoon, and this morning I received a call from my bank. I was told that someone in China tried to charge over $1,000.00 to my credit card, same card I used to purchase this charger. Thankfully, my bank blocked the transaction, and canceled that card number.

Loose batteries
- Pros: None.. It Works... No way to determine whether is new or used..
- Cons: Arrived with all the 10 batteries loose in a bag with the original packaging separate... Called Eforcity and they told me they heard that story before... They refunded the $3 and Told me to keep it and no need to send back... They said that as they were doing me a Good favor ($3)
- Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money unless you are willing to call and get a refund...

A Lot For A Little
- Pros: Great low product cost and free shipping. There were two strips of five batteries in the package I received. Both of the strips were placed in a small plastic mailing package, which protected the contents from the wicked thunderstorms passing through my area when the post office delivered the SuperSaver shipment from eForCity (not sent by NewEgg).
- Cons: On both of the strips of batteries, the plastic shell in which the coins were seated separated from the cardboard backing sheet which held the strip together. This resulted in the batteries coming out of the strips and all ten of them were loose in the plastic mailing package. Since these were coin-type batteries the Positive and Negative terminals on the batteries were able to come in contact with each other. This is a dangerous condition which batteries should never be placed in.
- Other Thoughts: My reason for selecting this product was the Total Cost per Item. With ten batteries in the product this was a clear choice since most other products offered by NewEgg were relatively expensive. I have only used one of the batteries at this point, which appears to have provided the power needed to POST my computer's motherboard. I can't help but have thoughts that somehow the loose batteries coming in contact with each other during shipment may have caused them to become discharged to some extent and only time will tell.
Regarding the mailing package from the Seller, eForCity, the address on the package had My Name, followed by 'Or Resident' and the remainder of My Address. While I don't object to delays in shipping when SuperSaver Free Shipping is used, I did object in this case to the fact that 'Or Resident' was included in the address. This gave the impression of it being junk mail and if it were delivered to the incorrect address (which does happen occasionally by the US Postal Service) may have resulted in a protracted tracking investigation.
Because of the loose batteries and the mailing address used by the shipper, I have to knock off an egg or two from my rating.

Solid performance
- Pros: *Quality product
*Excellent performance
*High capacity
*Lasting charge
*Long life
I've used other sets of these same batteries for at least 4 years, and they live up to everything I've ever read about them. I've used them in cameras, flashlights, remotes, toys, multimeters, cordless input devices, music players, radios, and more. They simply work, and they work just as well as advertised and reviewed. - Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: I didn't even know the 'egg offered these until I saw them in an email promo. At the sale price, I immediately purchased an 8-pack of AA cells.
Your only caveat, and this seems to apply to all NiMH rechargeables in general, is to use a conditioning charger for optimum performance. I also own a MAHA/Powerex MH-C9000 charger/analyzer, and its functions for 'break-in' and 'refresh' and 'cycle' have not only kept the Powerex batteries in top-performing condition, but actually restored useability to a few Energizer-branded NiMH batteries which had been reported as 'bad' by the native charger and would not charge at all.
Buy a high-quality charger/refresher to use with these batteries.
You may think such chargers cost an awful lot, but they'll allow a much longer lifespan for your batteries, ultimately reducing your overall cost in the long run. LaCrosse is another highly-regarded maker of such chargers, in addition to MAHA/Powerex.

Love 'em
- Pros: They have a HUGE capacity. Carrying case is convenient, if not super sturdy. I use them in hot shoe flashes, which requires a very fast recycle time and these are the the bomb dot com.
- Cons: Takes a long time to get a full charge, which comes with the territory, but don't expect to charge 24 batteries with an 8 battery charger the day before an event.

A worthy investment
- Pros: -gives you total control over charging, lets you match batteries according to the charge they will hold, lets you remove duds from your stock
-you can break in your batteries so they give you the longest life
-gives you all the data you need to know for sure if your batteries are duds or gems
-longevity and durability. I've been using mine for 7 years on a weekly basis.
-it's never damaged a battery or been damaged by a battery in all that time.
- - Cons: not for use with lithium cells
- Other Thoughts: I first bought mine in 2006 to keep my bike light's AA batteries charged. Considering I use my bike light five days a week, all year around, and I'm still using the original Maha charger, I'd say I can attest to it's longevity.
If you're impatient and insist on charging your batteries in 10 minutes, go buy a cheap quick charger and keep wondering why your batteries won't hold a charge after a few uses, or save your time and just stick to throwaways alkalines.
If you rely on multiple sets of AA or AAA cells on a regular basis, invest in this.

Worked great....for a short period of time.
- Pros: -Maximized my battery life and performance
-Decent instructions - Cons: -Died after only a few months
-Expensive
- Other Thoughts: I thought it was kind of silly to spend this much money on a battery charger, but when I got to use it, it worked great. I am a photographer, so good battery life and performance is very important. If the batteries don't work well, I can lose money. This really did a great job breaking in and refreshing my batteries. Then it stopped working. Good thing I have a back-up charger.
