Doesn't support 64 bit Win7
- Pros: Small size.
- Cons: I purchased this so I could use my Bluetooth headphones on my work PC. Unfortunately, installation of the supplied driver fails on my Windows 7 64 bit system. When I pair the headphones, it only installs one of the 4 profiles and the headphone do not work. I have gotten a response from support, but they have been slow to respond and they are now waiting for an update from the company who provides their driver. Who knows how long that will take. I've also found that finding information on their website about this product is difficult to find. Have they already abandoned it?

- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: There's a reason it's cheap. Pay for what you get. The plastic cover cap comes off after first removal from the USB port. I installed drivers but it doesn't detect all of my smartphone bluetooth services. The ones it does detect don't work anyway. Not my phone, it syncs just fine to other devices I have. I was going to RMA it but it's not worth the time and money to ship it back

It worked with Linux
- Pros: It worked with Linux. That's literally all I cared about. I'm using mine to sync up PS3 controllers using QTSixA

Works, but weird to get going
- Pros: -Small
-Cheap
-ASUS (not a no name. Bit of a con, but we shall get to that) - Cons: -Finicky
-Drivers need to be updated manually
- Other Thoughts: I found that on mine I could not insert the usb part fully into the port or I would receive static and constant cut outs. I am not sure if this is a fault of the device itself or my USB port, but seeing as this is an old HP I use at my job possibly it is the port. Get the 8.0 Atheros drivers and manually update and you will have better luck. Also, try not shoving the receiver fully into the USB port, it seems to cause all sorts of issues (possibly the usb connecter on the dongle is made improperly so fully inserting it does not link up right). Otherwise, my Spotify is coming through in full stereo with no issues and with good quality.

Doesn't work with Windows x64
- Pros: Works with Linux and Windows x86.
- Cons: Would not work with Windows x64 (Vista, 7).
- Other Thoughts: I tried this on several Win x64 computers and each time it caused a BSOD and would not work afterwards. I was going to get a replacement until I read the comments where others stated that it does not work with Windows x64.
I tested it on Linux and Windows x86 and it worked properly.
However for Windows x64 it does not work even with the latest drivers from the Asus website.

Its good but should work at booting.
- Pros: I can hear my phone from my computer speakers. My earpiece works also.
- Cons: When my PC is booting the Bluetooth device is not working so I cannot go into my BIOS or reinstall Windows with this device.
- Other Thoughts: You guys should had that working from jump. You all are grown professionals making things a college student makes.

It works.
- Pros: I use this adapter with my HTPC and bluetooth headphones. I used this on a fresh install of Win7 and had no problems. I think it may be related to what chipset and motherboard you are using.
- Cons: I was one of the lucky ones that had no problems on the install.

Great Bluetooth
- Pros: Great and Easy Install. Connected to my bluetooth headset and streamed audio with no problem.
- Cons: None that I can think of, maybe a brighter blue LED but nothing worth docking an egg off.

Good news for Win 8 for a change
- Pros: Newest software update supports Windows 8... amazing
Discovered devices through 4 walls! I didn't know Bluetooth could do that.... Nice surprise..
I haven't used it long enough yet to give any results on reliability, performance. etc. Just wanted to give a "heads-up" to people that may not consider this as it did not support Win 8, Install was smooth and trouble free for me - Cons: None at this time
- Other Thoughts: Used on my older but still strong, XFX nForce 780i 3-Way SLI Motherboard
