Pros: Works perfectly, as expected, on old Phenom II X6 1100T on old ASUS M5A97 mobo. Machine runs 24/7/365 doing climate models from climateprediction.net. Got new memory for the small speed advantage over original non-ECC 1333 memory, and had 1 unexplained system error recently. In another 3-4 years, if there's a memory problem, I'd be totally surprised. The new Crucial DDR3 1600 ECC works perfectly, and any problem would surprise me.
Other Thoughts: Just happy that ECC mem is still an option on old Phenom II.

Pros: Arrived quickly, packaged well, and upon installation, my server booted up without any problems. It detected the new ram and ran with it. I was able to go into the VMWare configuration utility and provision my VM's with the new ram and everything has been going fine ever since. Will likely buy more of this Radeon memory if I ever need to upgrade again.
Cons: None to speak of. Except maybe that Registered RAM doesn't play nice with unbuffered. But that's nothing to do with the RAM or this module in particular. Talk to an electrical or computer engineer for that explanation.
Other Thoughts: Some people on other sites have complained of DOA sticks, but in any manufacturing process there will be defects. DOA's will happen. I ordered 2 of these guys over a year ago though and they are still working well to this day.Good stuff. As I said though, DOA's will sometimes happen. Your mileage may vary.

Pros: Half height memory, fits around any heatsink clearance issues you may have.
Validates on an older Intel DQ57TM desktop motherboard with Xeon X3470 processor installed. Extended the life of some older servers that were nearing EOL.
Cons: None as of yet. These memory chips fit my needs perfectly.
Other Thoughts: Given that these validated on this platform, I have to now wonder if some of the even larger capacity chips would work on it. As it is, going from 16 to 32gb of RAM for a small esxi box made a big help.

Pros: Work fine in HP Proliant G7 micro servers - tried out in N40L and N54L (Thurion dual core CPUs, 1.5GHz and 2.2GHz). Both servers are listed as supporting 8GB max, both recognize at least two of these modules (16GB installed in the two sockets)
Other Thoughts: WHS2011 and FreeNAS 9.3 are OK but WHS2011 is lobotomized to only use 8GB of the available RAM.

Cons: Does not work for me. I am not certain if the problem is that it is ECC or not. I built this computer a few years ago using a Biostar MCP6P M2+ mobo. I am playing with Windows 10 on it and wanted more ram. It will not recognize this ram.
Other Thoughts: I would return it if I was sure it was defective. I just don't know for sure.
