Cons: Wish they had a 16 gb dual channel option for this ram spec!
Other Thoughts: I used these to upgrade an aging Core 2 Duo Macbook (mid-2010) from 2 GB of RAM to 8 GB of RAM and they worked great! Just popped them in and system booted and recognized them no problem! Multitasking is a breeze and running OS X 10.10 with no issues! Turns out, my Macbook with the latest EFI update can actually support up to 16 gb of ram! But good luck finding a 1066 16 gb kit for laptops! I haven't come close to using 8 gb as is but it always better to have too much than not enough!

Pros: RAM is mislabeled and doesn't include DDR3-1066 2009 Mac Models. Just installed on my MB Pro 2.66ghz 2009 and writing this review on it. Second purchase - also have this RAM in my same era MacMini.
Other Thoughts: Slight speed increase right off. For more serious speed, you'll likely want an SSD first. But if you're doing RAM intensive stuff, you'll need this as well. I have Corsair stuff all over - PSUs, Cases, RAM, etc. Good stuff.

Pros: Worked just fine in a 2008 Core2Duo 2.0ghz mac mini (which maxed the computer out at 8gb, up from 2gb). Made a noticeable improvement with OS X Mountain Lion. Now just need to get it up to Yosemite.
Cons: None really. It cost more than PC memory which I have used on mini's before but it seemed to be a crapshoot. This stuff was worth the extra couple of bucks to get it right the first time.
Other Thoughts: I did this for a client of mine who inherited the mini and was looking to bring it up to speed in the RAM and OS department.

Pros: I ran MEMTEST86 overnight on the Mac and it passed all the tests.
Cons: no cons at this time
Other Thoughts: First time I've bought Corsair RAM. I will consider them again next time.

Pros: Twice as much RAM as I originally had in my laptop and that significantly improved performance and load up times for applications, and the speed isn't bad either
Cons: The latency is a bit high but considering I have much better performance I can't complain
Other Thoughts: After spending two semesters in college waiting for a good thirty seconds or more for even native apps to load and not having great responsiveness, installing these RAM sticks has given me the performance I desired
