Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Works great!
Pros: Works great, looks great, well priced!
Cons: Odd to mount for me. Probably just my case though. I had to rig it.

Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1Rating + 1 Started Strong, Finished Weak
Pros: Dual fan redundancy, fairly quiet, moves the air
Cons: Died in less than 18 months. I know how to fix but what a pain. Both stopped spinning
Other Thoughts: Nice product, well packaged, etc... put this on one drive and the XIGMATEK HDC on another. The "another" is still spinning away and doing its job. I will buy the XIGMATEK again, not this Logisys.

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 Needs installation Manual
Pros: fan will hopefully last longer then previous cooler installed
Cons: Needs installation Manual
to see how Hard drive is mounted to Brackets.
Other Thoughts: Would be nice to have an installation Manual (small piece of paper) showing that the Hard Drive is suspended from the top down, the only thing that show this is a dim picture on back of box difficult to see Bracket.

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 moves air but...
Pros: Moves air
Cons: It was to be a silent fan. But truth be told after about 2 months of light use one fan started making this godawful sound :/

Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3Rating + 3
Pros: Inexpensive and easy to install. I found it to be very quiet. I never heard it above my case fans.
Cons: The cooler simply didn't provide any tangible benefits. At best I saw a drop of 1c on the drive.
Other Thoughts: Its possible that a front mounted case fan renders these type of coolers unnecessary. I would only recommend this for some with a case that does support a front fan and the hard drive is running uncomfortably hot. But if your drive never gets hotter then 40c in the middle of the summer then the truth is you really don't need this. Most hard drives are rated to about 60c.

Pros: Digital display for temp and rpms looks very cool. Easy to install
Cons: Old style 4 pin power connector; After years of use, turning the rpms up on the fan actually causes the temp to raise a few tenths of a degree.
Other Thoughts: I used thermal paste on the hard drive to optimize surface contact. The blue LED comes on when you press the button and goes off after a few seconds. This keeps my 2 year old from trying to press the power button.

Pros: Lights & fans work fine, and probably still do.
Cons: noisy
Other Thoughts: I have had this about 15months, unplugged it after 1 month...just too noisy

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 Good idea, poor execution
Pros: The general design behind this product is solid. Whoever came up with the unique low-RPM fan that runs the width of the front panel ( a "tall" fan laid sideways, if that makes sense) that scoop the air out is genius.
Cons: Though, unfortunately, the actual build of this product is horrid. Out of the box, the holes didn't line up quite right, something was out of alignment in the fan assembly and made a loud noise. I set it on "low" setting but the fan died within in 2 weeks of use. Not sure if Newegg would take returns/replacements in this case...might be worth a try.
Other Thoughts: If it had a high quality ball bearing fan, and manufactured with acceptable degree of precision it would have been an excellent product.

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 LOUD!
Pros: It's good to have a cool looking cooler on the front of the case. It also saves space for another HDD/SSD in the hard drive bay area. Hey, It do what it do!
Cons: Too Loud! It's louder than my 120 mm, 140 mm, and my 230 mm fans!
Other Thoughts: Cooler Master HAF 932, ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition, Intel Core i7-480K Ivy Bridge-E, Cooler Master V8, Kingston SSD and WD Velociraptor (She won't quit!), Seagate 1TB
