Pros: Price, though you can get a Rosewill (with twice the length which I thought was excessive) or Nippon Labs cable that will probably work fine for the same price.
Cons: Doesn't work.
Other Thoughts: Tried this with 3 pairs of headphones. It works before you push the headphones male jack all the way into the female jack on the cable, unfortunately once you push it through to the point that it clicks and locks half the frequencies drop out. This results in odd effects like hearing the background track on a song but no vocals or only half the instrumentation. The sensation is very much like being at a concert where music is playing but instead being outside the venue. Or perhaps being in a tin can under the sea... neat but certainly not what I was looking for at all. I waited 8 days on the cable and it doesn't work, to say nothing of 5 wasted bucks. Quite a disappointment to say the least.
I might upload a video to show you guys how it distorts sound.

Cons: neither cable works properly. I plugged in 3 different pairs of headphones and each cable had issues along the length, if you held the cable just right you would get some audio but if it moved it would completely cut out or you would lost half the audio

Pros: It works as long as I keep the cord bent in just the right spot.
Cons: The connectors aren't great. But aside from that, where the cord is attached to the connector there is something wrong. When I hold the connect in the headphone socket firmly (to ensure this isn't the problem) and then bend the cord around, one ear phone cuts out. It's extremely bad, and I almost cut it off last night and was going to splice it together myself, just to cut out the bad portion of the cord. This is almost like what you might experience on something like this after 10 years of wear and tear, not when it's brand new.
Other Thoughts: Stay away or you may be as sorry. I'm probably going to try and make due and in the mean time order a different brand.
Aside from the cord issue, the connectors aren't the best, but I isolated the issue and connector was not causing my problem. It's the cord where it attaches to the connector.
