Nice quality cables.
- Pros: Very thick, yet flexible cable. Far superior to the cables that came with my 8-camera kits. Secure BNC connectors.
- Cons: I was in a hurry when adding this to my cart to replace an existing damaged cable. I didn't notice that this doesn't also have the DC power connector that all of my other BNC cables do. Again, this is an oversight on my part but always good to remember that you'll need power as well. Not a big deal since I just left the existing cable run through the ceiling and it can provide power.
- Other Thoughts: I have purchased numerous BYTECC cables, bulk CAT5e/CAT6 cable, RJ45 connectors, etc... from Newegg and have had no complaints.

- Pros: Great video quality. Works with an older Sony monitor. BNC cables are fun to attach.
- Cons: Really thick, heavy cable. I suppose it has to be to fit all 5 wires in there though.

Horizontal v. Vertical
- Pros: It works. The monitor hasn't wigged out since getting this connected properly. Cautiously, I say 'woo-hoo!'.
- Cons: Don't see any reason to ding it, except maybe it doesn't have a balun. Well, that and I could have spent quite a bit less for one like it at the one price place. Then again, I'd probably still be waiting for it, and the Egg sent my something else at the same time I also am pleased with. So, no loss of egg here...
- Other Thoughts: I have an ancient 16:10 HP AA that has a problem with the DSUB input. Contact enhancer and changing cables didn't help; several times a day it just loses connection. Fixing it requires reaching under and back and wiggling the connection. Since it has 5BNC as an alternate connection, I was hoping this would save me the aggravation. So far, it looks like it has. Knock on wood, of course...
Oh, yeah - you might want to check if there are marking on the cables for the white and black leads. I mistook their purposes and misconnected them; after switching them, I got a great picture again. Well, the contrast is still lousy due to the monitor's age, but this puppy is still as crisp as I need it to be. Since this sucker weighs 93 lbs, I'm _not_ turning it around again to check for labels on the cables!
