LED doesn't last
- Pros: Still works 4 years later
- Cons: Light gradually gets dimmer as time goes on and has been completely out for a few years. Got it so it would show up in my case so gotta take eggs away. Would like to give it 3.5 but will round down to 3.

It's long and it works

- Other Thoughts: Just buy it.
You'll know you need it if you're looking at the product details.
You actually NEED this cable if you want to use IDE/PATA drives with a new system that has no IDE header and you're installing an IDE interface card.
It's longer than the IDE cables we're all used to in systems from the old DOS/Windows 95 days, and we need such a cable if we're wanting to use old IDE drives in just about any current system.
Regular rubbing alcohol will clean off any gummy old-rubber-band residue from your cable, if it arrives like mine did. Just grab a paper towel and a bottle of Isopropyl from the drugstore, and clean it up easily.

Lights Life Time Very Short
- Pros: Cable it'self is OK. Pretty lights die in about 60 days of normal use. I have bought over 5 of these and they all do the same thing.
- Cons: Lighting's life time very short lived.
- Other Thoughts: Not worth ht extra money just for pretty lights that die quickly.

does what its supposed to
- Pros: does what its supposed to do. very shiny and colorful.
- Cons: not really a con, but its super rigid and not very hideable. If its for an older maching(htpc,headless server) its fine, but if your worried about cable managment, go somewhere else.
- Other Thoughts: does whats its supposed to do and still works today.

nice cable
- Pros: D'oh. I accidentally bought a DVD drive with an IDE input. Got this one which is really nice as it isn't a wide cable. Allows for good air flow.
Other than that - it works. it's a cable. - Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: Why are you still reading - just buy it if you're in the market for an IDE cable.

Old School
- Pros: The wires are rounded and not flat so it doesn't look as cluttered in your case. The blue wire gives it that extra glow in your case, plus the cables are sleeved so it looks very clean and makes it look very nice If you have a side window case. Very durable product.
- Cons: The cable is a little stiff, but after years of use, it begins to be more flexible.
- Other Thoughts: I have had this product going on 4 years and still as bright as the day I bought it. It's a cord that is still lasting and holding on as the ide era comes to an end.

it works
- Pros: its hard to mess up a cable, and this cable to me is flawless. so I have no complaints used in a recent system build. easy to work with and route
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: whish it was a little shorter this cable dose wonders for air flow as I was never a fan of the older flat cables
