Other Thoughts: Works fine for my 1600x1200 monitor. Note description says VGA/SVGA/XGA/SXGA/UXGA cable. To ensure satisfaction with this cable, be aware what resolution you require, and read all the reviews.
The cable appears to be well made and a good buy at the price.

Pros: Looks like a high quality cable. Generally well made. But, see cons....
Cons: This cable does not pass the monitor ID data to the video card. Without this, windows will not allow the monitor to display the proper resolution. The monitor is not identified by the computer at all. Apparently not all the pins are wired properly from one end of the cable to the other.
This cable is advertised to be made up of three coax and 4 twisted pairs. That only adds up to 14 conductors. There are supposed to be 15 pins. All 15 are needed to properly identify the monitor.
Other Thoughts: If you KNOW that you don't need monitor recognition in your application, this should be a good cable. If I booted the computer with another cable so that the monitor would be recognized, then switched to this cable, it displayed 1920x1080 very nicely. It could work in some applications, just not for your primary monitor.

Pros: The cable does exactly what it's supposed to. It takes a vga signal and splits it across two monitors.
Cons: It did not work like I wanted it to, though it is not the manufacturer's fault at all. I thought my two 1280x1024 could be registered as one long monitor with a vga splitter (basically making a resolution of 2560x1024 that my monitors could share side by side.) However, this is not how it worked. Now I have one monitor in the middle that works just fine and two one the side that are completely identical.
Other Thoughts: It does exactly what it's supposed to do, so that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. I had no problems with any connections and everything worked great.
