Pros: Works beautifully in a chain of adapters... Dell laptop mini HDMI out : Mini HDMI to HDMI adapter : this HDMI to Displayport converter : Displayport to Mini Displayport adapter : Apple CinemaDisplay
Best part is I don't even need the USB for power, even with this setup.

Pros: Works flawlessly while both of my monitors are turned on and in-use.
Cons: I use multiple monitors (one is quite an early LCD with a VGA input hence the need for this adapter). When I shut off my main DVI monitor the display input disappears and moves all my windows to the smaller VGA monitor.
A bit of a pain, but I really shouldn't expect miracles with a monitor from 2008.

Pros: Excellent Adapter. My company uses these on HP 8200/8300 Elites and HP 2560/2570p's with no issues.
Cons: No cons.
Other Thoughts: For users who are experiencing audio issues it's due to having older chipsets/processors on their computers which weren't capable to output audio via Display Port. Generally speaking, if you have a processor older than a Clarksfield CPU( 1st generation Intel i series sold in 2009) or AMD Turion,Athlon etc. you will most likely NOT get audio from the cable. You can STILL obtain audio through a standard 3.5mm headphone jack however. It's not the adapter. It's your old computers! UPGRADE! :P. That is all.
