Not bad but a little quirky
- Pros: Relatively easy to use. Decent price for capacity and features.
- Cons: I've tried using wall plug chargers, even with the USB cable that came with the Sanza Clip with no luck. The thing only seems to charge when it is plugged into a USB port on my computer. Earphones not the best but okay.
- Other Thoughts: I use the Sanza Clip for listening to music and for that it works great and has all the features I want. It's very easy to download mp3 and wma files from my computers. I've adjusted the equalizer to my own sound preference. I bought a set of Philips ear canal ear buds that I am extremely happy with. They do a great job of cutting out background noise and have very good sound reproduction.

- Pros: Play music
- Cons: Not worth, I bought a Sony 8G MP3 player with the price of $50. I thought this one is better than Sony with such a high price tag, however after compared usage, see no difference. Then why tagged such a high price? Not make sense

I love it till it left me
- Pros: small
sleek looking
expandable
reasonable play time on one charge
reasonable charging time
good sound - Cons: didn't last one year
total failure at time of breakdown
irretrievable files
expensive for the period it lasted
- Other Thoughts: didn't last a full year and when it went it went completely. I wasn't able to get anything that wasn't on my chip. Since the machine has its own resident ram that means when it fails you better hope you don't have anything irreplaceable in the machine's stored memory. I've bought cheaper units with the same functionality and gotten better durability. Buy this if you don't mind replacing it within a year.

Is this a new Clip product?
- Pros: I have 3 clips for my personal use and have supplied 8 friends with them. Never heard of a more reliable player so I am really confused by these reviews.
There is an occasional hiccup that holding down the power button for 20 seconds resets. That happens maybe once per year.
Another time my friend used his while pressure washing lots of filth and the Clip wouldn't restart. We rinsed it with distilled water, dried it, and bounced it off the desk until it worked. Still going 3 years later. - Cons: Clips break and it's a hassle to get a replacement on the old ones and impossible for the new ones without gluing something on the back.
- Other Thoughts: Totally mystified that so many of you are having real problems.Bad batch? Sansa not saying anything? Why is New Egg still selling this lot of them if so many are defective? The older ones (last time I bought one was maybe a year and a half ago) are perfect except for broken clip.

Piece of junk
- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: Unreliable
- Other Thoughts: The first one I received was dead on arrival. After the flower logo appeared, it would pause indefinitely on a "Refreshing your media" screen. I RMA'd it and sent it back.
Now I have had the second one for 3 days and it won't boot. It just sits indefinitely on the flower logo.
Hidden under the clip is "Made in China." You get what you pay for. Caveat emptor.

Great for runners. Great battery life.
- Pros: Fits in pocket. Lightweight. Holds a lot of music. Easy to operate. Battery life is excellent. Great full-range sound. Great volume range.
- Cons: Power button on top is easy to push when plugging/unplugging headphones.
- Other Thoughts: I was trying to decide on an mp3 player to use while running. Some are huge and look hilarious on someone's arm while they run. I ended up getting these and a pair of Sennheiser PMX80s (sweat/water resistant). Perfect combo for running. This player is light enough that it doesn't bounce around in your pocket. I just run the cord of my headphones under my shirt down to the pocket of my shorts while running. This thing is so light, you don't need to mount it to your arm and there's absolutely no distracting bounce or swing with it in your pocket. Super lightweight.
When playing music, it does everything you'd expect. Great sound and volume. I was especially impressed with the fact that I hardly have to charge this thing. It really holds a charge. Operates flawlessly while running.

It quits on me after a month and slightly used.
- Pros: I like this cute little "SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 1.0" Blue 4GB MP3 Player" very much. Sounds good.
- Cons: However, it just suddenly failed to work this morning at 11:30, on 5-19-2013. Too bad. I have just used for a few times (~ approx. a total of 4 Hours) since I bought it few weeks ago.
