"Lifetime" Map Updates That Aren't Valid For A Lifetime
Pros: Decent enough size screen to get you from point A to point B without missing too many turns.
Cons: The user interface feels extremely limited and unintuitive (since when do you write an address with the city first, then the street, and then the street number last???). No pinch zooming on the maps. There is a significant enough of delay in screen updates that if you're traveling faster than ~45 mph, the names of the side-streets won't appear until you are passing them.
Other Thoughts: Apparently TomTom thinks that a "lifetime" is 90 days, because if you forget to pull your device out of your car and plug it into your computer at least once every 90 days, they will invalidate your map subscription and then demand ~$100/year if you want to ever receive map updates again.

Pros: The GPS is one of the best I have ever had. From first look, the screen is incredibly slim and clear - it almost looks like a phone instead of a GPS. Setting it up was effortless and was very fast. It is very accurate and the interface is also quite useful for long trips, showing the nearest gas and restaurants right on the screen. Overall, I would definitely recommend this anyone looking to purchase a new GPS unit.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if this is a refurb, it didn't come in retail package but appears brand new. was a little hesitant at first but came with new instructions, screen protector, charger and usb cable. Turned it on and the screen was dark at first, but turned up the brightness and seems to work perfectly. Hopefully it performs as well as it looks..

Pros: Very impressive features & screen size for the price. Fairly easy to operate & navigate menus. Received unit appears brand new - no blems or scratches. Advanced lane guidance is great, but haven't had a chance to use it a really difficult interstate merge yet. Traffic is automatic but is only so-so accurate so far. Does come w free updates. Picks up satellites very quickly & much more accurately than the Garmin I had years ago. Has a few automatic setting changes that my TomTom lacked (day/night, volume). Windshield mount works very well, but I wish the neck was longer (all brands seem to be this length). Navigation calculations seem very fast and accurate
Cons: No current-time clock in any mode. Individual entries can't be deleted, only entire categories (recent, saved etc). Very limited preference settings available. (deducted 1 egg for those omissions) Audible street name (mis)pronumciations are almost worthless. Map update took forever to download
Other Thoughts: Overall, vastly improved performance and feature set from my (much) older Pioneer & TomTom GPS's. The lack of features & preference settings previously mentioned is surprising from a unit this advanced. My other GPS's are much older technology, so brand comparison is not possible

Pros: Great price and extended warranty makes it a great deal, which I took. Voice Command recognition works really well. Make sure u put city and state in when adding an address, and speak clearly and just turn down the radio and high air speed on your AC! . Everything is typically good Garmin, as I have owned many of these.
Cons: Wish it could be a little brighter in the daytime, when our eyes iris down from sun brightness, but I bought a hood for it, and it's fine. Brightness and lot's more can be adjusted without touching the GPS, using Voice Command, a plus for me.
Other Thoughts: Wasn't going to buy refurbished again, but these folks seem fine. Extended inexpensive warranty made it a 'no brainer'

Pros: Got a deal on a great portable navigation. Big screen and a pretty loud speaker. The interface is friendly and it's accurate. Lifetime map updates and traffic, so I'm feeling pretty good about this product.
Cons: I have no beef with this Navi. But you will need 10 minutes to set up an account, if you want to do an update.
Other Thoughts: Newegg always delivers.
