Insten 675508 6Ft Hi-Speed HDMI Cable + RCA AV Component For Xbox360
It works
- Pros: Works as promised.
I had an old 65" Samsung rear-projection TV without HDMI but with component input and an XBOX 360 with HDMI out.
I connected this cable to the regular (non-HDMI) output on the XBOX and to the component input on the TV and my resolution went from 480i to 1080i.
There is a switch on the side of the adapter (where it goes into the XBOX) that has to be in the right position to work.
It came with an extra HDMI cable (I don't know why?). - Cons: None so far.

Yeah, I didn't see it in the description, but it's still 1 egg
- Pros: It's solid
- Cons: Doesn't work with a TV, which is why I bought it! I should have read the details and reviews but when you are just looking for a darn cable, you figure it is going to work.
- Other Thoughts: What on earth would anyone use this cable for besides hooking a computer to an older TV? What a useless product.

Good for the Price
- Pros: They work, they are color coded(see cons) & labled "Video"/"Audio". Would cost twice as much at BB. Pretty heavy set of cables, don't feel cheep.
- Cons: They had a blue color code on a the red audio and vice-versa. I quickly figured this out thanks to the labeling near the RCA plug and the difference in diameter between the Video and Audio wire. But that cost 1 egg.
- Other Thoughts: I'm concered w/ New Egg's super low egg saver shipping. It blows, and, now has me looking at other eTailers for better shipping. I'm not paying 79 for the 2nd day offer. Sure, try it for 30 days free. BAH!!

They are component cables
- Pros: They are component cables, you can use them for component video. Connectors seem good and cables themselves aren't cheap or flimsy.
- Cons: No cons, but they won't tell you look nice today.
- Other Thoughts: Good price for solid component cables.

Pleasantly Surprised
- Pros: I bought this because I got a video capture card and needed to reach my PC with a long HDMI cord. I'll admit, I was skeptical when I bought these. I was even more skeptical when I got them. The cord is so thin compared to other HDMI cables and it's length worried me about quality.
Using them for video recording, I can happily tell you that I don't see anything wrong with this HDMI cord. If there is any degradation in video quality, I can't tell. Overall a good product. - Cons: None
