Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Behringer > Behringer BEHVP1 Vitage Style Phase Shifter Pedal Single Guitar Effect

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Funky Fhaser!
Pros: Good Construction, very much in the old Electro Harmonix Style. Two Phase tones and the Rate knob has a wide range of speeds. I really do like this pedal, the on/off switch is a true By-Pass and it powers the pedal off. Retro feel, look and tones.
Cons: There was a minor mix up on the tracking number by the seller. To give a non-biased review I have to mention this, but it no way changes my rating or enjoyment of this product. I have No other isssues with this product.
Other Thoughts: Behringer has been making some pretty cool gear, that anyone can afford for a while now. I am just starting to figure out that I like the entire vintage pedal line that they are selling. The price was decent, because it included free shipping and even tho this was purchaced from a 3rd party on newegg dot com I still went for it because of my many years buying products from them. to sum all of this up I will close with .. Good seller and a fun product that I will use in the recording studio and for a couple live shows.

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Jim Dunlop > Jim Dunlop 105Q Bass Cry Baby Wah Wah Pedal CryBaby 105-Q NEW

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 Does what you'd expect
Pros: I like this wah pedal. It has a good sound, and easy to understand settings. It does what a wah pedal should, and that's really all there is to it. If you want an idea of what this pedal sounds like, just search for it on Youtube. Purchased through NewEgg Marketplace seller ProAudioLand, and am pleased with their service.
Cons: Not sure if worth the extra money as compared to the basic wah pedal by Jim Dunlop. I'd need to put them side by side to decide if it's worth it.

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Elite Core Audio > 32" Guitar Effects Pedal Board with ATA Road Flight Case

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 I highly recommend this!
Pros: Incredibly durable construction, aesthetically pleasing, and flawless design. Pedalboard can be removed for a less-bulky option, or left in bottom lid of flight case for added protection. Rubber "stoppers" on bottom lid prevent sliding/slipping around when pedals are stomped on. This is great for the professional touring musician and makes set-up and breakdown that much faster and more efficient. Shipping was free and only took 4 days (shipping said 5-7 business days)! Very pleased with both the product and Newegg.com, highly recommended!
Cons: The pedalboard isn't powered, but an easy solution is to hide power supplies, extra cable slack, and power strip all in the "dog house." Not much of a con, but can be easily fixed.

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > E.W.S. > EWS Tri-Logic Bass Pre-amp II

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 E.W.S. Tri-Logic Bass Pre amp II
Pros: Outstanding tone. Subtle adjustment's to mid's,treble, and sweet bottom end, without coloration.Nice gain, and volume control, for active, or passive setups.
For the cost, this is a winner in my opinion. Great head room @ 18 volts.
Cons: Does not come with 18 volt adapter, but Batteries are included, and recommended adapter is inexpensive enough.Have no negative issues to report.
Other Thoughts: Using multiple passive bass's, and have found this to be extremely versatile.

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Fender amp foot switch
Pros: Has 1/4" plug-in and comes with 1/4" m-m cable non shielded, as it is a controller cable no-shield needed. Works as advertised looks good also red l.e.d. shows mode it is in.
Cons: wasn't free and price was a smidge high compared to Guitar Center.
Other Thoughts: Glad i bought it shipped fast packed well from one of Neweggs varied retailers. !!

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Heet Sound > Ebow Plus Electronic Bow for guitar by Heet Sound

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4
Pros: Works pretty well, Plastic material is better than average plastics, 2 tone settings
Cons: the only thing I can find that bothers me about the Ebow is the strength of the magnet, its just strong enough to vibrate a string from a really really tiny distance, so playing around with it is pretty difficult. Other than that I do love it sounds sweet on steel string acoustic too.

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Behringer > Behringer BCF2000 USB/Midi Auto Fader Interface Control Surface

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Best in it's price range!
Pros: It was a quick set up, i had it running within protools in under 30 minutes. Motorized faders for 8 tracks, the ability to link with other control surfaces via midi. It appears to be durable (if treated properly) and is lightweight. It's also a small footprint, making it ideal for a studio on the go! This thing has great qualities given that it's under $200.00.
Cons: loud faders (fortunately no sound runs through the board so as long as you have a decent set of monitor speakers/headphones it's no big deal. The faders also sit kinda high (0db isn't halfway on the fader track). Doesn't have a transport control or a jog wheel.
Other Thoughts: Honestly i had to jump on this deal because it works with both pro tools and logic, its separate from my interface (so i can use whatever i want). It also is the only control surface in this price category that has both 8 faders and the ability to write automation. Good compromise for those who want the control of say a d-command or digi 003 (which is no longer available new).

I didn't receive a tracking number and was a little concerned at first, however they did supply an ETA which was pretty much spot on. Box was in an acceptable condition (no punctures or anything). All in all i'd recommend it for anyone trying to put together a decent home studio!

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Fulltone > Fulltone 9-Volt Power supply - Center Pin Positive

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Fulltone FPS-2
Pros: This is a compact, regulated, positive-center adapter with a standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm plug. It's completely silent and doesn't take up too much room on your mains outlet. I am using it to power a Fulltone '69 MkII and have experienced no problems with it. You'll never need to worry about having fresh batteries again.
Cons: The only potential con I can point out about this product is that is has a straight plug. This isn't likely to be a problem for many people but if your pedalboard space is limited and the pedal you want to power has a side mounted DC jack, the plug will require a minimum of 1 1/4 inches space beside the pedal - which is more space than a side-angled 1/4 inch plug. The straight plug can be seen in the product picture on the Fulltone website and it's not enough of an issue to justify removing a star.
Other Thoughts: I ordered this from Jax Music Supply and it arrived swiftly and well packaged.

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Electro-Harmonix > Electro-Harmonix Soul Preacher Compressor/Sustainer

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 One of the only pedals I use
Pros: I play lead guitar, along with computer-produced beats. Its always been tough to make the guitar stand out in the mix without overpowering it, since its being blended with audio thats already mastered. I always use the Soul Preacher, and sometimes a distortion pedal and rarely a delay pedal. Soul Preacher is indispensable for me, when I play a show. Without a rack of effects, this is the best way I know to make the guitar blend in perfectly with the mix, whether distorted or clean. And I'm convinced that this thing is indestructible.
Cons: Nothin really. There's no sidechain capability, but that would be a tall order. The only thing I could ask for is is a volume meter or a gain-reduction meter.

Categories > Guitar Pedals & Effects > Electro-Harmonix > Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi Distortion Sustainer

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Rocks
Pros: Makes learning the guitar much more enjoyable.
Sounds great!
Easy to use.
Simple to understand.
Cons: No 1/4" cables, but you should already have one if you have an electric guitar. They are inexpensive anyhow.
Other Thoughts: Worth the buy. You can make bad guitaring sound cool, as silly as that sounds.
