Pros: Fun, Pretty nice sounds, usb midi out. Lots of menu items and customization. not a pro unit but surprisingly has potential commercial use. The few Motif sounds are amazing. I cant stop playing with the sax. Great songwriters toy. All arp patterns, songs, styles output midi and tracks are mutable so you can record just bass or main lines or drums. Pretty cool.
Cons: As cheap as memory is I cant see why not to include more instruments from the Motif line.
Other Thoughts: Bought mostly as a midi controller forvst instruments and reason. Got this to replace the tiny and mostly useless Akai MPKmini which I could never get the arpeggio working with. The keyboard is way better and more dynamic and the arp triggers midi noted perfectly. Lots of arp patterns and some really fun special ones that are instrument specific like some that emulate spanish style guitar picking or bass lines or banjo. Its a clever idea from yamaha and will be handy. Built in styles and patterns are much improved over the late 90's model I used to have. As a non pro instrument its still pretty fun to play with and its actually really good for inspiring new music idea. I was happily surprised. I have even recorded some stuff directly out of the keyboard. just make sure to change the inboard EQ to "line out flat" as its eq'd bass heavy for the built in speakers. Thats another great feature. Yamaha made a nice consumer unit that really has some light commercial potential, sure a pro would giggle as did I but its a fun little unit and thats fine with me.

Pros: - Cheap - Very functional as a beginner keyboard - Battery lasts forever
Cons: - No A/C adapter with the product, you have to buy your own
Other Thoughts: Bought this to just play with occasionally. I'm an absolute beginner and this keyboard is great for starting off. The unit runs for a very long time with batteries. It doesn't ship with an A/C adapter but you can buy one separately.

Pros: Beautiful color, really fun to play, and great customer service.
Other Thoughts: Accordion beginner. This accordion seems to be great for what I wanted it for, which is to learn to play. Later on I will definately go with a more quality accordion, but this one will do for now.

Pros: I've used this keyboard with Ableton, Reason, and FLStudio and in every case it has worked extremely well! Its a great keyboard for recording with, and all the sliders and knobs work beautifully for controlling filter parameters and LFO's (DUBSTEP WOBBLES 'n JUNK!)
Cons: Uhmmm... Its a little plasticy for my taste. I don't think it could take very much abuse. Also the keys feel very.... button-esque.... there isn't much weight to them at all.
Other Thoughts: This was actually used in some of the demo videos they did for FLStudio 10.... (thats why I bought it....)
