Technical Pro BLUEDECK Rack Mountable Bluetooth Audio Receiver New
 
BUYER BEWARE
- Pros: The advertising says it works!
- Cons: Purch to go along with my TechPro lab1000. Rec'd 10 days ago, hooked up, turned on - PRONOUNCED SPEAKER HUM! Moved away from all power cords, fl lights, etc and still got speaker hum. Hooked it to Accurian receiver- got hum; hooked to brand new Yahama 5.1 receiver - got hum. e-mailed tech support - got return e-mail 2 days later & asked me what brands I was using so I e-mailed back and that was the last I have heard. Despite several repeated "please respond" e-mails, no response.
- Other Thoughts: You be the judge: Tech support at manufacturer does not know; does not care; does not give a hoot because he has no one asking if any problems today or maybe he is the chief-cook-bottle washer all rolled into one? Who knows and at this juncture - who cares!!! Good amp but terrible Bluedeck. Lost me as a repeat customer so let the BUYER BEWARE!

CHAUVET HURRICANE H1300 Fog/Smoke Machine + Remote
What an upgrade!
- Pros: I'm floored at the difference these offer between lower end models from the same company or otherwise.
*Remote option is awesome and fully functional for up to 4 units!
*Massive output
*Sturdy units with durable build-Quality is clear right out of the box
*Easy to control
*Plenty of length in cords
*Blue glow inside fluid tank is awesome backstage - Cons: *A LOT louder than I'd prefer it to be. For the massive output; however, it makes sense. Very tough to use during intimate moments onstage as the spray is going to be heard to the back row of a one thousand seat house.
In the future, I'd like to see an option to turn down the output on these larger models for certain occasions.
- Other Thoughts: So stoked we popped for two of these. These two fill up a 60' X 80' stage with ease in about a 1/2 a minute. They're powerful and sturdy, and I expect they'll last us many years.

Not at this price...
- Pros: This is a good unit, especially compared with the numerous other terrible foggers on the market.
- Cons: This is a refurb on a type of product that is one of the most problematic in this price range. The very mild discount (under 20%) is not worth it vs getting a new unit with warranty. I've never seen a decent fogger in a NewEgg ad so they will probably learn to price it properly or leave it off of the ad.

Chauvet B-250 Mini Bubble Machine Bubble Machine
Great Bubbles!
- Pros: I am the owner of many cheap $10-$20 battery-operated bubble machines. I'd gotten into the habit of buying a new one (or two) every year. This year I decided to try something different. We bought this machine for my daughter's first birthday party and it was a HUGE HIT! The machine churns them out continuously. I especially appreciate the power cord because I don't have to worry about changing (anywhere from 4-8) batteries anymore. We connected our machine to an outdoor extension cord since the cord isn't very long.
- Cons: Short cord
- Other Thoughts: Would highly recommend, especially here in Florida where we are outdoors year-round. It will be a big hit with your kids and your party-goers!

Incredibly Fun (but slightly less than perfect)!
- Pros: Amazingly useful for the price.
- Cons: The enclosed software is an older version limited edition of CrossDJ with no reasonable upgrade path. The cost is not high but I shelled of for the latest full version of the software. I am still happy with the price/performance. You will still spend less than you would on another controller/software setup.
- Other Thoughts: This thing is loads of fun and at a fraction of the price of a professional controller. This is a good entry level item to buy to get your feet wet.

Great Product for Price
- Pros: Great product for the price.
Does everything I need it to do.
Yes it looks cheap and like a toy, but works very well.
Works with TRAKTOR 2 Scratch Pro
Software that comes with it is good for starting DJ's. - Cons: No headphone out jack.
I have 2 sound cards so that fixed the issue.
- Other Thoughts: Great product all around. You can't get something this fun for 50 bucks.

If YOU want your kids to get leave your Dj Controller alone
- Pros: Actually my kids bought me this 2 XMAS' ago. I thought they were "messing" with me, but this lil controller that could has come in handy. It's quick and easy to set up, and the platter feel is very "tactile". On one occassion, I had a gig, and this unit was an excellent backup, when my main controller was "out of commission". The software that is bundled with this is far more responsive (IMHO), than the $300 professional DJ software I use.
- Cons: Great, if you want to teach your kids to DJ. Must get an external sound card (to cue second track).

No Thether
- Pros: Makes my Fogger wireless.
- Cons: - Range is somewhat Limited in crowded situations
- Occasional Dropouts
- Other Thoughts: Overall it does precisely what it's supposed to do. I can set my Chauvet Hurricane 1300 on the opposite side of a regular size High School Gym and it functions 99% of the time.
Occasionally, I will have to touch the antenna of the transmitter to get it to work, but that may just be a sign that the battery needs replaced...
I have run into line-of-sight transmission issues in extremely crowded situations.
